I love your interpretation. It warms the soul and invites us to a travel into our memories. I lost the count of how many times I watched this video and I know, I will come back here again. Thank you so much for sharing.
More than a year passed and here I’m again listening to your divine interpretation. It transcends any form of communication how diverse emotions can be transferred through sound. Thank so much again Michael, for sharing, if you once give a concert in Canada, I will surely be there to give you a big thank you hug. Greetings from Vancouver
Note on my own playing: My intonation is a bit on the "low side" sometimes. I did not play the exact articulation (dotted slurred notes) and the dynamics are hard to do with organ and much easier with piano. Funny: The "f" in measure 29 I did not play at all - the note just did not come out of the trombone - however, nobody noticed :)
I found the beginning two measures to be the slightest of hairs rushed but nice in recover from the third measure onward. There was an A flat I believe you hung over for more than it should that actually made it sound more stylistically connected which I might apply that to when I try this. Overall it was beautiful playing, nice control all over, and wonderful tone. I personally found myself replaying this video over and over because it is so nice to listen to. Going by the performance the trombone gave such a nice intuitive and insightful sound that left me in wonder and the organ accompaniment gave such a reminiscing, child like vibe that just brings back my more youthful days.
Bonowombo It actually inspired me to practice it on my own trombone. Found it very fun to play and is probably one of many songs that suck with me after I graduated high school.
@@fernandmusician1889 g major, hence one major third higher ... in that key you need to be very skillful, it's demanding even on alto trombone, since you have to reach the high d multiple times ... by the way, the full leopold mozart concerto is a beautiful piece of music
I´ll do my very best! :) Of course it´s easier to display the notes if it´s my own arrangement and the notes are already in the computer! But I also discovered it´s fun to listen and read....
Hi Michael, you have a beautiful tone. This is a wonderful arrangement and I am looking for a piece to play at my Grandfather's thanksgiving service, I wonder if you would be able to email me a copy of the music? Best wishes Walter
Hello, is the score available ? I would like make a concert for trombone and organ next year and this piece is very beautiful. Thank you PS : very nice sound ;)
Mozart would be very proud. Can I make one suggestion for your future practice? (Yes, I am a trombonist and can't listen to anything without being critical :) I heard a few passages where your slide was a little slower than your tongue. Ralph Sauer and Jeff Reynolds always taught me to think "slide ahead" on these passages. Beautiful sounds my friend!
very nice, great sound, range and intonation. Suggest use of alternate positions to smooth out the phrasing. try to keep the tongue fairly passive: "doo" all the way through not the occasional "too"; be very subtle and don't let notes of length "swell" within the note itself. (BTW, I play & teach using my 1957 88H w/ rose brass bell, Bach 5GS mpce)
Thank you!! I personally prefer to not use alternate positions in slow pieces because of different overtones (it sometimes just doesn´t feel/sound the same). Also, dynamics, articulation etc. were invented to make a piece more interesting, as is different tonguing.....to "doo all the way through" is probably nor for me. However, this might also be a different perception due to different language....I´m maybe playing "in German", so to say :) But thanks for your feedback!
Very great performance, thank you for sharing. Ive noted this score with slide positions and I can play it pretty good, but when sight reading it is much more difficult. Do you have any tips for better sight reading ?
Try isolating parts of pieces you know (like one or two bars) and play them in a loop with a metronome (or even backwards). You‘ll find this much more difficult, cause it‘s hardly possible to play this by ear. Habe fun! 👌🎶
@@Bonowombo Awesome thanks for reply ! Also may I ask what Trombone Model are you using and would you recommand for Military Marching Bands such as UK army band ?

That’s a good question (and not a good solution). I‘ll talk to Abel and ask them! 👍🏻
it is possible to have the complete score?
Yes! But not for free :)
Please what is the time signature of this music 🎶
It's a 2/4 beat, counted in eighth notes! 👍🏻
@@Bonowombo okay o
what type of mouthpiece do you use ?
It´s a Lindberg/Tarrodi 2CL
Hi Michael Munzert. Tried to order the piece from abel.at but seems like they only deliver to Europeam countries. I am in Singapore. Any help?
Aargh! This is not good ☹️ I‘ll ask at Abel if there is any possibility...
Can I have this music score

No :) But he doesn't feel inferior because of that :)
