Question for anyone who is Korean or understands the culture: I enjoy lots of Korean living/cooking vlogs and I often see them decorate with “props” as they call them- we call them trinkets or what nots- anyway- I’ve noticed a trend maybe of decorating with postcards on the wall, scenic 📆 calendars and general scenery photos - but noticed they don’t use picture frames 🖼- is that usually the case in this culture or just a trend currently? Is it possibly a younger cultural thing like teenagers in USA hang up bedroom posters ? I’ve seen push pins, tapes of assorted various types and stickers to adhere to walls but never framed... 🤔
it's probably because they can't use nails for rentals, and frames would be too heavy for pins or command strips, so frameless posters are easier to deal with! (it's also maybe less bulky and more versatile that way? to change up the assortments periodically without the commitment of nailing them down)
So, is that like an office share? Or just a space for people to sign up to be able to use an office? That's a really cool idea and I think good to get out of the house and some socialization. I wish we had spaces like that here. I know they probably due in bigger cities, but I live in a medium sized city and it's pretty old fashioned so I don't think we have anything like that.
