Also just going to reply to myself here, I am unsure as to what kind of oven bags you have in New Zealand, but the ones we use here yes they go in a oven but they say "do not place directly on the rack, place on a baking sheet" so that might have been the issue? maybe I am unsure and anything over 400F will melt them.
Bernie is such a lovely boy. You would leave to get something from the truck and he never tried to follow or get nervous. He is going to make a amazing camping companion.

I'm a NYer by birth, raised by German and Irish 2nd generation, so I grew up eating lamb and mutton, although we didn't raise sheep on our farm. Tony, I am just loving Bernie! Right now you’re on the walk the loop and he’s trying to figure out what to do about going around this huge huge puddle across the whole road so he’s so sweet. I can’t believe how wonderfully he is doing for only six months old. I can remember Bruno from the time he was about seven months old, but really not seeing him camping as much until he was about 10 months old. So being able to watch Bernie grow up oh right now he’s got the Zumiez big time cracking me up anyway, watching Bernie grow up and learning how to camp and seeing how quickly he picks up on everything, I think he is going to be absolutely wonderful. The older he gets the more he learns. Thank you for all your wonderful videos especially for sharing this absolutely adorable loving creature that God put on this earth especially for you! Your videos are very inspiring. I plan on getting back out into the wild soon. A lot of people do not like camping in the rain but you make it look quite fun and cozy. As long as you are prepared and stocked with food and water,the elements shouldn't bother you at all. I can't wait to get back out there. Your videos are very inspiring. I plan on getting back out into the wild soon. A lot of people do not like camping in the rain but you make it look quite fun and cozy. As long as you are prepared and stocked with food and water,the elements shouldn't bother you at all. I can't wait to get back out there. Also...thank you for recommendations on the type and brands of gear you use. Makes my life easier. God bless you my friend!!!
