Wake up and Dream: Luca Belpietro at TEDxInstitutLeRosey

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. Luca founded the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Trust (MWCT), a community rooted non-profit organization which now employs 250 Kenyans, providing the community with conservation, health and education services. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Kenya and wrote his thesis on Sustainable Development and Environment Conservation: Wildlife as a Natural Resource in Kenya.
