  • Paul Bertilsson is Chief Cook on board Götheborg. How did he end up on Götheborg? What is his day on board like? What are the challenges with cooking at sea? And why did he start the Tiktok account "Cook at Sea" (that you should all follow!!)? Watch this video to find out.

It was my third and final trip on Götheborg III in 2012 that prooved for me I am no real seaman, and I got seasick while working _under_ deck during heavy seas - that "killed" me (some nice people helped me out). Only on deck, when I can see horizon, it can be as stormy as it wants, I would be ok. So apart from that small episode from me, I never regret a single minute onboard together with these fine people. The best I have been with in my life.
And of course, Paul's meals were ALWAYS excellent, I can assure!

Never too late to stop being seasick. ;) Glad to hear that you've enjoyed the experience apart from that, and we agree, Paul is amazing. :)

But. Have you ever found a literal rat sneaking around the kitchen?
