When you guys were talking about how important genetics are with fitness, and that hardwork is a talent it really resonated with me. I have been working hard to keep fit for a few years but I'm never happy with how I look. The issue I have is genetics, but not because I can't lose weight (I currently weigh 58kg) but because I have symptoms of a hereditary disease which causes bloating. I will wake up some days and look like I'm pregnant. It's such a draining experience because I can work so hard and be feeling great and then wake up one day and feel like it's all for nothing. I begin to get really depressed sometimes because I feel that there's no way of changing the way I look no matter how hard I try. The way you described hard work as a talent really changed my perspective on whether it's even worth it. I should be proud that I try hard even when it often feels like a lost cause..

genetic definitly play a roll in weight and fitness. my thyroid probably wont ever allow me to gain weight nor maintain it (fat & muscle). I used to spent $$$/mo trying to get my calories, protiens, along with weight lifting. I had to stop because my bank was being drained for minimal results.. just be healthy and stay active. Your body will appreacite it regardless. Don't chase the media's ideal body.

I hated Anfisa at the start, but as the series went on, I actually started to love her. The more that came out about her story and what he promised her... She became more likable. I also think a lot of her deadpan, sarcastic humor was misinterpreted when she was on the show. Not saying she didn't have nasty moments, but I do think some of it was misinterpreted.
Well, everyone is bashing Anfisa (and for a reason ofc), but I find it absolutely amusing that Jeorge was crying about all those feminists and saying that "woman should depend on a man" and then he finds a woman that depends on him and he cannot provide for her.

There’s a very big difference between providing for her and spoiling her beyond reason. He was definitely desperate, but you don’t go get with someone and expect them to make you feel like the richest girl in the world. When you guys were talking about how important genetics are with fitness, and that hardwork is a talent it really resonated with me. I have been working hard to keep fit for a few years but I'm never happy with how I look. The issue I have is genetics, but not because I can't lose weight (I currently weigh 58kg) but because I have symptoms of a hereditary disease which causes bloating. I will wake up some days and look like I'm pregnant. It's such a draining experience because I can work so hard and be feeling great and then wake up one day and feel like it's all for nothing.
I begin to get really depressed sometimes because I feel that there's no way of changing the way I look no matter how hard I try.
The way you described hard work as a talent really changed my perspective on whether it's even worth it. I should be proud that I try hard even when it often feels like a lost cause..

genetic definitly play a roll in weight and fitness. my thyroid probably wont ever allow me to gain weight nor maintain it (fat & muscle). I used to spent $$$/mo trying to get my calories, protiens, along with weight lifting. I had to stop because my bank was being drained for minimal results.. just be healthy and stay active. Your body will appreacite it regardless. Don't chase the media's ideal body.
