    Ben. Can you explain shotting pattern for Deep shallow on a diagram and best starting point off bottom in 6ft of water. Plus we have a silly rule of only allowed 18ich under the float best Rig on a diagram ThanksTony.

    Ben, thanks for that and yes it comes across. I particularly like you explanation of Carp disturbing the whole water column and thus the need to keep the shotting low down near the hook.
    A question: When using 2 or 3" hooklengths do you still connect these loop to loop to the rig line?

      Hi mate, yes, always loop to loop, by far the strongest method.
