      @jordancambridge4106 9 месяцев назад +6

      Every single bladed weapon can do that and does not require 20 years to master that. You average kitchen knife can do a cleaner cut. Its not impressive at all. Also any real expert notices the dumbest thing to ever exist with weapons and that is he removed the weapon from the ready to make his attack effective at all making the Japanese blades worse than a random rock on the ground. If you remove a weapon from the ready that is death on the battlefield and to use a Japanese blade at all you have to remove it from the ready. Anyone who has ever actually studied fighting at all knows you never put your weapon away in order to use it because that is just beyond stupid yet that is Japanese weapons. They fail a rule that not even cave man weapons failed. They fail a rule no other weapon has ever failed proving without a doubt they are not quality at all. The rule of keep your weapon at the ready is known by new born babies because its brain dead stupidly obvious yet Japan fails to understand that.

      Every sword can do that. Its not impressive at all. A sword cuts and straw is really stupidly easy to cut and it does that always. Hell you can do that with a pocket knife. Now the really stupid fact is in order for you to do that with a Japanese sword you need 20 years of hard training to do that with a Japanese blade or 2 seconds with any other blade. Also in order to have the speed with a Japanese blade you need to do something so brain dead that makes all real weapons experts question weather to lock you up in an insane asylum for life because you are clearly bat shit insane for thinking it good and that simple thing that a Japanese blade fails is having the weapon at the ready. In order to use a Japanese blade at all you have to remove it from the ready to be effective in combat with a Japanese blade which is so stupid that anyone who thinks its good should not breed unless they want to make their bloodline stupid as well. Removing a weapon from the ready in combat is the single stupidest thing ever and that is how a Japanese blade works making a random rock off the ground for superior as a weapon.

      @yoyoibo not in this case. Tatami mats test a swordmans technique specifically. Sharpness is important but not at all the point of the demonstration, and also just a given. You can have sword with a razor edge molecule thin, but it won't go through wet tatami fibers without proper edge alignment. Vice a versa, you don't need the sharpest sword to cleanly cut tatami if you have good edge alignment. It helps, but again, not really the point.
