Dear aliens! I'm from Russia. And I can tell you that we have a Russian folk dance is very diverse! It is our culture and customs with ancient Slavic times! We want to advise you to look at our great Russian choreographer Igor Moiseyev. His ensemble of Russian folk dance known worldwide. See his work and closer to the Russian culture. Good luck to you!
TAMBIEN ME ENCANTAN LOS BAILES Y MUSICAS NATIVOS, Y ESTE GRUPO LO VIENE BAILANDO MUY ORIGINAL SOBRE TODO CON LAS BELLAS MUJERES. SALUDOS HERMANOS RUSOS, PAIS GRANDE Y PODEROSO. DESDE EL PERU PAIS DE LOS INCAS MARAVILLA DEL MUNDO.
It's only a way to express they are enjoying themselves while dancing. It sounds weird to us, but this creaming is very typical in the East Slavic's folk dances.
[zaixega] Folk Dances Around the World even west slavic... in moravia (czech republic) same thing.. yea screaming shows they are enjoying it, and man screams "ej" which is protoslavic word, later changed to hej by dialect it means "yes" in slovakian language. but the screaming has roots in slavic paganism.. celebrations like kupala are full of it...
@RussiaSerbia They told that because I classified this dance as Siberian before, but this dance isn't from the Region of Siberia, but from the west of Russia.
@TwilightRussia In West European countries there're nationalities too (but they're not so differences between them as between Russians) and they are called by the name of their regions, so I thought in Russia was the same thing and I made this mistake. Thank you your your patience and your help :)
From my point of view is in the NW. In the SW would be Ossetia and the Black Sea. Yep, I know Karelia is still more in the North, but the Baltic area is nearer to Karelia than to the Black Sea.
@TwilightRussia I have some Russian dances classified as "Siberian dances" because I saw they weren't Russian-Slavic dances and I didn't know what nationality they were. If you help me to identify the nationality I'll change the names. Can you help me? The dances are in a playlist called "Siberian dances".
nice , some , I must few steps come close to Indian traditional dance.may be hand actions. I enjoyed it. nations having some folk culture can understand. American please ignore this , since there is is no culture of folk dance in your country
In addition to the square dancing that Ernie mentions, we also have contradancing (round dances) and clogging (originating among Irish-Americans). As for folk culture in general, we have old-time music, bluegrass, blues, gospel (black and white), country music, western swing (dancing too), various types of jazz (including Dixieland, swing, bop, and related dances), and a rich oral storytelling tradition, plus the many, many traditions of various immigrant groups that enrich our culture. The idea that people cannot understand other cultures condemns us to isolation and proto-fascism.
@TwilightRussia I prefer to call people by their nationality because I want to let people know this nationalities exist. I believe if I called them "Russians" people would think in Russia there're only one culture and language.
@conway2000 It's Vigo, in Galicia, Northwest of Spain. Vigo is an industrial city, but it has a lot of interesting modernist buildings (1890-1920). In Galicia and all Cantabrian coast, traditional houses and also modern budildings were all made of stone until 1960's. If you're interested, you can see more modesnist buildings in Vigo here: h t t p : / / w w w. vigoenfotos. com/a_modernismo_1. h t m l
You said it! So now go and dig deeper, you may find some more truth where that came from! Remember, "Truth is the Lore of Heavens. It exists, whether it flows through you or not."
I said it. But I said that you spread wrong information that does not exist. Have you ever seen hunnic dances prior to commenting here? Asian dances and music are totally different from European.
That's not true. Andalusians don't yell and they have Arabic influence in their folklore, of course, but Spain is not only Andalusia. In Galicia, for example, we have our typical yell called "aturuxo" (google it). Galicia was never conquered by Arabs (because Arabs were not interested in - Galicia is very rainy). There are also many Spanish regions conquered by Arabs that don't preserve any Arabic influence because they were under Arabic control very few years.
No, these dances have nothing to do with any old hun customs. Russians have nothing to do with the huns. We have our own unique dances. Before commenting something, think please.
Can't HEAR the instruments! .. please bring a mic up to the accordions and balalaika. The Dancing has only half the exhilarating effect without the instruments!
I love Russian folk songs and dances. The most beautiful! With love from Romania

It's only a way to express they are enjoying themselves while dancing. It sounds weird to us, but this creaming is very typical in the East Slavic's folk dances.

@2pointSamuel spot the only comment! you'll guess wrong! why? because there isnt one!
I love this dance! What is it called?
The screaming is when they realized they agreed to do something like this.
My purpose was to correct you and to stop false information from spreading. That's all.
Oh let’s dance 😂😂😂I don’t like the way girls mice😬😬😬 old dance but earlier girls were tender and soft even when dancing very fast
