Just brought Aprilia sxr 160 (white colour) my personal favourite and ofcourse a universal colour... Handling, brakes and looks and performance top notch... While riding people looks this italian beauty.. And the brakes of 160 is top class i havent seen any scooters with such brakes.. Yes u have to compromise a little bit in average.. right now i am getting 30 32 kmpl.. but after first service it will definitely give me 35 40kmpl... Yes no vibration at all.. but the performance and the looks is worth giving more.. ❤️

@@beindian4508 my scooter still performs very good.. because my running is very low.. hardly 5 kms on an average per day.. talking about mileage.. i am getting a mileage of 32 33/ litre Parts are also good thoda sa turning cone set ka kaam aaya.. otherwise no work till date except for oil change and brake settings and normal service works… Parts are expensive i must say.. But rest no issues with riding..pick up is top notch.. sitting position sometimes irritates.. but thats fine.. overall good.. not the best.. but yeah good.. 👍
Aprila should uprade more and then launch, engine kill switch , hazard lights , break stopper, seat should open automatically in one button press , navigation, Bluetooth which already introduce in scooter market.

Well made video. No doubt the design angle is better... but Burgman still wins for me due to its leg extention, mileage, storage spaces, top speed and stuff like Bluetooth connections Also the COST!
Excellent review Amit! One of the first channels to review the Aprilia SXR 160. Few disappointing things about the scoot is the absence of Engine Kill Switch, plastics do not sit flush, monoshock, no disc brake at the rear, foot board space and lack of under seat storage for a full face helmet. I wish these could have been sorted out by Aprilia who are marketing this scoot in the premium segment with a high price point. Design and proportion are however one of the best in class. Mileage is another cause for concern.
I am not a scooter guy I mostly prefer motorcycle still I am watching this video only because of how Amit explain everything. It's that crisp and detail..🙏🙏

"Maxi Scooters" are supposed to take out for long rides (tours)...... and for this scooter Fuel Cap is inside the seat (most of other brands started bringing it outside). So, during long rides you need to unload & reset your luggage myriad times 😡. Why spend loads of money for a "scooter" to take out in a crowded Indian city on daily commutes 🤔, and not "practical" to use as a touring one.😈 Huh..... "the birds, the bees & the Italians"
This is very different it’s not for generic people it’s for people who live performance but compromise on mileage. It will be limited it’s aprilla doesn’t want to become mass like Vespa
Amit, your closing comments are bang on. SR160 is truly motorcycle like..my personal favourite. As you pointed out, Vespa and Aprilia want to cater to niche segment, however, the premium they charge doesn't justify the offering.

Hello amit ji Nice video. I have some questions: How many valves are there in this engine? How this engine compares with engines of Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and TVS? Is it good for daily driver in city, specially in traffic for say 20 to 50 km per day? How is overall service quality and parts availability in this brand.?
It's a 3 valve engine. Better than all other engines in terms of performance, but the difference is not very pronounced. It's a nice engine for everyday use, but the spares and service is going to be expensive
I don't know why these companies shy away from features like 'start stop by accelerator' , side stand engine cut or one touch start, Indian market is kept deprived of it

125 Apriliya kab aane vali hai & price KY hai batana Dahod me show room hai bhai & Godhra me hai batana
Suzuki Access, which is a 125cc scooty, can achieve a top speed of 100 kmph and in spite of 160cc it has a similar top speed.
Scooter is something that is not for topspeeds anyway.....

12.5 bhp and 14 nm of torque would have been sufficient. Front screen guard should have been slightly higher.
