Have you ever seen a 1★ Carry a CC clear before?

    Thanks to Fellow 3★ player Fujan for suggesting that 5 deployment limit is viable for 3★ Only. At first I believed the best strat was to do 7 deployment limit and have Melantha + Plume on the right side with 0 block kill all the mobs. With 5 deployment limit I relied much more heavily on Palico for dealing damage to the enemies and their ghosts.

    When Phonor released we thought she would be the best 1*, but Palico breaking every event that has a hit count mechanic has been here all along...
    I waited until phase 4 before trying 3* only as a I knew a map like this wouldn't take a lot of time to figure out. The main thing is I needed to rely a lot on Palico to kill the ghost dudes, as Palico does sufficient damage to them during their main form. In their ghost form they need 5 hits, Palico can do 2 autos before they go invis so that's 4 hits from them and 1 more hit from the body I'm using. I specifically used Fang here as her auto attack was fast enough to come out to hit the ghost before she got targetted.
    I guess I should share my overall thoughts on CCB. I'm mixed on the brand new risk system. I don't really mind the large gap in points or the fact that the number of points you get per improvement is inconsistent. The number doesn't matter that much to me just the quality of the clear. I prefer the fact that different tags gives different amounts of points as removing risks in order to take otherwise harder risks that gives more points is more prevalent here than in og CC. The problem is the huge amount of choice you get, to the point some enemies don't even spawn if you don't take their tags. I had a lot of fun playing Felines and 5*s as there where a lot of moving parts to the map that all needed attention and strategy, But with 3* and Bunny I skipped the car tags entirely which meant the rest of the map was a basic dps check. I have a feeling this new CC will be really lame for 3* only as a lot of really hard enemies can just be skipped entirely, which is such a lame way to play the game... That being said this is pretty much an issue exclusively for low level niches. Something like Felines was still plenty interesting as I said. As for the risk requirement being really high for getting all the rewards / medal, I think this is an issue for newer players but personally I'm not that bothered. The biggest issue I have though is the fact that we have such a short timeframe for phase 4, I was pressured so hard when phase 4 started because I didn't want to miss the deadline, and I pushed myself to a pretty unhealthy degree. Overall I got plenty of enjoyment out of this CC season, even if not as much as older CCs, and I think a lot of the doomposting surrounding this new CC is very much unwarranted. If I need to play other niches to get the most out of the season then I'm happy to do that, I've already been swaying towards other niches overtime anyways.

      Please maintain your health, there are still a lot of stages to do, ILA.
      I got hit pretty hard too with low-level niche, as aiming for the standard 620 they put out is still impossible despite the 'low-level' I choose is already at a high E2LVL1.
      The wide range of the risk give out a really different stages and can be used for many kind of niches, but the fact that they are linked with 1 risk at the beginning is a turned off for me. It is basically a 2-themed map in 1 instance: car with reveal ability and ever-spawning bombs; heavy SP-regen restriction. If you tried to focus on 1 theme, a big chunk of the risk just sealed off; if you choose both, then both theme feels clunky.
      It really feels like I'm asking a lot, but I just don't get the fun, especially with a niche that spans the entire roster and locking it for all operator. Do I really need a second account to have fun and try other niche at this point, so that I can properly aim the standard (620 risk) that they put out? I'm one of those that got doomed by this CC, so I just want to take this out. Peace.

      i feel like people complaining about the trim difficulty level have grown too accustomed to trim being free in recent season one CCs, this is supposed to be the hardest event in the game afterall
      my only complaint about CCB is not enough dailies lmao

      @@Auroraen I still live in the era where balance were based on 3-star power-level's ceiling. Feels so old for wanting to not move from this position.
      It needs DoS for me to actually acknowledge that module changes the power-level's floor and makes me split my own account into 2 separate niche which drastically lower my E2LVL1 flexibility.
      Doctors actually needs to adapt. Sad.

      I had a lot of problems with this CC since I have no 6* at 90. E2-60 and a couple at 70, but the missing levels are surprisingly painful if you use "Day 1" clears. It worked in the end after I used a guide that I had to do the challenges first for, but the before hampered my enjoyment a lot. Still, I am generally a fan of this new risk system. Even during Pinch-Out! The problem of choice and the corresponding time commitment will probably stay my main problems beyond that regardless of how far I progress.

    So fireballs only hit you if you aren't camouflaged, and blocking removes camo

      I've definitely had fireballs crash into idle operators and explode, momentarily removing their camo and making them a target for the Seeds. I reckon you only need a block count above zero for the fireballs to hit, even if that block count is being taken up.

      Yes, block 0 operators won't get hit by the fireball, and -1block makes Castle-3 and Melantha a block 0 op
