There's a flavor here that gets lost with even a little pitch correction or whatever. I know this is waxing poetic about just not editing, but for real lol. Hours of singing/screaming in my car driving around. Had a hand full of vocal lessons when I was in my early 20s but mostly it came down to just learning a song I liked on guitar then singing it over and over until it was comfortable for me. No "secret tricks" or natural talent just years of learning and working it out. I love to sing and I'll be the first to tell you I am still learning and consider myself a young student to this singing thing. My advice (if you were looking for some) would be to get a good vocal coach and listen/practice what they tell you. I constantly have vocal problems and am currently working to correct my technique and sing properly. So save yourself that hassle and do it right the first time!! haha hope this helps.
I check my comments all the time so you're not late haha. Yes, I have the whole thing in D standard so if you just take a standard tuned guitar and drop each string a whole step then you will be in tune with me. I've found it just helps with a lot of these crazy vocals songs to get a little lower.
No, I play in D standard so I can sing these crazy songs a whole step lower for my poor voice haha if you're trying to learn using this just tune your guitar to D standard and then it's mostly just G, C, D, Em and the occasional Cm shapes.
