    Ranger pipe is also an option for controlling the power vs flywheel weight and low compression head.

    This is as Fresh as it gets. Apart from the initial surge of promotional footage when the French Special addition popped your content has backed up and supported the Pros and Cons excellently. No other channel has provided the 38mm Smart Carb modification review nor low compression conversion review. These reviews obviously contain PARAMOUNT information to consider. Truly amazing, well done. The review and removal of the L/C head will definitely suit my desert style riding in FAR Western NSW.
    Bring it on.

      Thanks for watching mate! Glad you enjoyed the vid. I agree with you about the LC head isn't needed for desert riding. Standard should work great 👌

    Great review. I have been trying to decide if I want another KTM300XCW, a Husky or the RIEJU. After watching your video I have decided on the Rieju. KYB suspension, carb and a kickstart is exactly what I was looking for.

    Have an 19 gasgas ec300. Basically same bike and agree with your comments. Nice to see the bike getting a decent long term review instead of being slated by the motorcycle magazines. I have 13/50 gearing so 12/51 must be pretty wild in first and second!

      @Gg_gorilla_bikes thanks mate! They're a top bike.
      Funny enough the gearing at 12/51 felt like it was geared higher than on my other bike. Im no mechanic but I'm assuming it's got something to do with the different gearboxes. I still think I could go a little lower!

      Yeah ive got an 18 ec 300 and I tried 12/52 and first was almost unusable felt like it was always on the pipe in any gear went back to 13 front and enjoy the ride it more, stock bike

    Thank you for the video! I've had a Rieju MR 300 Pro for two years, and I've put 95 hours on it. The only issues I've encountered were the bearings on the linkage within the first 10 hours, and just two days ago, the fan switch stopped working. Other than that, it’s been a great bike!
    However, I do have a question. I’ve been struggling with tuning the carburetor and can’t seem to get it perfect. I wanted to ask: is the SmartCarb better, or the Lectron? Do these carburetors improve power in the low and mid-range? Thank you :)

      @highcountryhardenduro  2 месяца назад +1

      No problem mate, thanks for watching.
      That is a tough question, I haven't personally used the Lectron so it is difficult to compare. However from what I've seen with other peoples experience the SmartCarb seems to be the better option! I find the power is improved throughout the entire range. I would certainly buy another SC for the Rieju if I was to do it over again!

      @@highcountryhardenduro Thank you very much! The scales are tipping in favor of the SC! Keep up the great work! I believe these videos are very helpful to many people. :)

      Does your rieju have power in middle revs? I've been struggling with jetting on mine. ,maybe its just bad powervalve?

    • @IvanDimitrov-tt9er
      @IvanDimitrov-tt9er Месяц назад +1

      @@AudiMotorsport Hi, find the manual online if you don't have it and take a look at the carb settings table and return it to standard, then look at the settings for the powervalve. The powervalve is very easy to be set to standard. After reverting everything to standard you can tune it by your needs. Just do it carefully, step by step and take notes. I am sure that your powervalve is working fine.

      @danr456 thanks mate, give 168/35 NIEF 3rd clip a go. But depending on where you live this may not work for you

      @notgamingwithmax I've got custom valving so it's going to be different on this bike to others. But I'd suggest 14 out on rebound and compression and go from there

    • @notgamingwithmax
      @notgamingwithmax 3 месяца назад

      @@highcountryhardenduro Ok thanks a bunch, I was getting close to that currently after my first few rides. I noticed the rebound on this suspension is pretty slow. Was that the reason for the custom valving? I currently have a 2023 MR pro model but I think they are the same.

    • @highcountryhardenduro
      @highcountryhardenduro  3 месяца назад

      @@notgamingwithmax yep more or less the same bike. Out of the box the valving is actually really good, it was just changed to suit hard enduro a little more specifically (softer)
