- "FINAL BLOW" is a sports-action game released by TAITO in 1989.
Players choose one of five boxers and compete against the remaining four to become champion.
In addition to weak, medium, and strong punches, you can also use switch between low and high blow to take advantage of your opponent's openings.
Step into the ring and face the most fearsome fighters in the world!
The "Arcade Archives" series has faithfully reproduced many classic Arcade masterpieces.

Dude I loved playing this game in the arcades. Final Blow was famously ported to Sega Genesis as James Buster Douglas Boxing & featured Douglas as the game's final boss in the wake of Douglas' shocking upset of Iron Mike Tyson.
The only thing I hated about Final Blow/JBDB was the annoyingly repetitive dialogue from the fighters' cornermen. Other than that, a fun solid arcade boxing game.
The most believable boxing I've seen recently 😏

It's a good sign though since Final Blow and Warrior Blade: Rastan Saga Episode III were part of the compilation Taito Memories II Gekan for the PS2, so hopefully Hamster is checking Taito games from this collection.
Get Taito Milestones 3 for Switch when it comes out. It'll have all 3 Rastans.

Was this game a launch title are the Genesis when the Genesis version was out or was it the following year after the Genesis was out
Yeah this was the first boxing game on Genesis in 1990. The US version is called James Buster Douglas Knockout Boxing. Overseas it kept the original arcade title Final Blow.
Nope, no Night Striker or Super World Court or Dirt Fox on Arcade Archives.
