what is difference between IATF 16949;2016 and TS 16949;2009
There are many differences between 2016 and 2009.
1. 2016 is revision of ISO/TS 2009.
2. Whereas 2009 is a TS instead of 2016.
3. 2016 more focused on involvement of "Top management"
4. The concept of MR is eliminated in 2016.
5. 2016 focused on Second party auditor competency i.e. person involved in auditing of supplier should be aware about CSR, PPAP, Legal,Quality tools etc.
6. IATF is mandatory for automobile units by 2016.
7. There is approx 22 mandatory procedures in 2016 which are more than 2009.
8. The concept of "Context of the organization" added in new revision.
9. Interested parties, issues,process owners, corporate responsibility,control of external providers(i.e.suppliers) and many more are added in this new standard.
