I wish more educational videos were taught by him. His iContact his smile his body language was very informative and to the point. This was very easy and then not as stressful as I thought it would be thank you.
Its confusing cuz website says to do two light coats. Then there's this guy who represents the company and it doesn't look like he's planning on doing two light coats. Looks like he's doing both coats at same time.
They all looked awful to me and I'm a total amateur. Just looking on RUclips to see how to stain a new treated pine paling fence I built. Sounds like this one might not be the one.
The sample packet kit I ordered was a joke…cut 5.5” x 5.5” cedar sample boards and some of the packets didn’t have enough to cover the small board other packets had just enough. So certain colors were hard to judge. Also if you do sections do front and back instead of all front and then back side because you definitely get over lapping marks…..airless sprayer.
Can anyone please tell me.....What size tip would i use for wooden fence 6 inch slats with a 2 inch gap between slats ? Thanks and much appreciated, Gerry from Raleigh, NC
Getting ready to purchase this stain through my Home Depot ... going to be refinishing my deck which has not been stained in about 5yrs. Looks like a great stain and gets rave reviews as well ... Any tips on how i should prep my deck before staining (cleaner to use and method) thanks!
Tried two garden sprayers today from Home Depot, neither would spray out like that no matter how many times I tried to adjust it. I cleaned them with paint thinner and those sprayed in a nice mist. I think it needs to be thinned out to spray like that.
@@Coupe420 I ended up buying a Fan Nozzle Kit For Chapin Sprayers that I was able to make work with some Teflon tape. It sprayed ALOT of stain, but I was able to get all the corners/joints sprayed pretty well and rolled the rest.
This video needs re-done, we need to know color he's using and additional information regarding stuff such as over spray prep, anything different for decking and any additional information/tips. Thanks
Not wanting to argue but it was an instructional video on the different ways to apply Ready Seal. RUclips has other videos on Ready seals color options. Remember the type of wood you have will ultimately determine how it looks on your fence, deck etc. Test before using. Look at the video I have attached. ruclips.net/video/YwTQIK7t6uQ/видео.htmlsi=63JwgyqtHhCj4d0o
You reapply semi-transparent stain every 2-3 years. If you’re going with paint, it can last up to 10 years. Exposure to UV, sprinkler systems, and rain will determine the interval time needed for touch ups or redo.
Thank you for the demonstration using various tools. I'm now ready to apply my Ready Seal to my brand new deck!!!

I’ve been staining fences for 17 years and not a single one of those demonstrations was done correctly. My heart hurts after watching this.

Does this by chance self level or blend in perfectly???
Great question
He covered that in te video….yes it does.
He said ‘self level’ like 10 times

Airless Sprayer: any mid-range or higher quality sprayer; 40-60 PSI, 0.18-0.23 range and 211 or 213
spray tip recommended.
What about overspray if I use air sprayer , should I be concerned. How can any overspary be removed?
What is the pump spray used?
What about clean up and over spray when using airless?
That Pump Up Sprayer is definitely going to splatter, roll down and stain that concrete below that's not covered up.
how long does it take to cure on a deck, before I can put the furniture back on the deck

You have to pump it just about until it explodes but they will. If you notice how hard it was to lock the pump down in the vid, lots of pressure.

What color is this?!
My guess is the Dark Walnut, very similar to what we put on our fence.
What about cloth application?
What kind of sprayer is that
He is fired terrific job.
You forgot: vertical boards right hand, horizontal boards left hand

Damt man you never heard about spray machine?😂😂😂😂😂
⛔️ I don’t hear any language about Durability. 3 year ?? 5 year ? 10 year ????

What a complete mess. He was very wasteful and careless with the product.
