The deafness part was included maybe because when you know you are dominated by the persons you are in close proximity with, you have to make independent decision keeping aside the advice of your close aides which may impact on your overall judgement.
Thatswhy the deafness was incorporated which is rather rhetorical.
Perhaps the “deafness” is more symbolic and indicates an unwillingness to listen to other people?

I know a chart with Saturn rahu in 7th house. His wife and him are both having hearing issues. It’s started after age 56. No deafness. Their parents also had hearing issues related to old age. In energy systems we say that a person who doesn’t like what he hears or refuses to listen, has hearing issues. But in this case I noticed that they had to talk loudly to communicate to their parents, so that also contributed to hearing issues over time.

I think the answer to your question regarding deafness from saturn in the 7th house is because 7th house is 6th from 2nd.

Saturn placed in 7th Deafness.. may probably not literally mean Deafness..but may also mean *Selective listening*. The spouse may only listen to things which they want to and discard the rest... your thoughts....
1. Saturn gives deafness to spouse only if their MERCURY got afflicted otherwise you don't find deafness of spouse bcz Mercury is the natural karaka of hearing and he is the natural 3rd house lord. This should be considered.
2. Saturn tests patience always so in 7th house he tests you for patience regarding spouse! And the patience comes from listening!

Actually satrun gets exalted in Libra ,then Satrun in 7 th house because bhav exaltation.

well, in my experience, I have seen many natives with 7th house saturn.. but the spouse was not deaf, although the natives were having some problems regarding ears.. not totally deaf although!
but one thing, I found common, that every single person, having 7th house saturn, had problems in leg, especially in knees. my this predictions becomes, exactly accurate every time. Even I found that, in the poems of Khana, she is a famous name in the ancient bengali folks.

For Sara Cara & Deepanshuji when Saturn is exalted in Libra & being 7th house , the trines to it is Aquarius & Gemini; now Gemini indicates communication & hearing, & Aquarius signifies both the lords Saturn & rahu , so one causes delay & the other supports it ( 11th being house of gains) so the person develops deafness gradually

Dear Deepanshuji, another lovely and super informative video. Thank you so much for all the wealth of knowledge you share with all of us!! As for Saturn in 7th causing deafness... even though we typically do not think of Saturn and ears (karak being Jupiter), I believe Saturn rules 'vibration'... the kampann aspect of dhvani. Maybe that is why we find the star of hearing (Shravan) in Capricorn (ruled by Saturn) and also playing drums (Dhanishta) is in Saturn ruled signs. So, given these thoughts, if one wanted to fine-tune their prediction, then they could say that some damage may happen to the ear drum, leading to deafness!! Such a person should especially try and keep their ears clean (Saturn being karak for dirt-mael) and be even more careful while cleaning their ears... (P.S. on a sidenote, I never do predictions, but you are such an inspiring Guru that I felt inspired to venture into that space. Thank you again!!)

About the deafness part, the person doesn't listen because they are opinionated or might have less focus when something is told to them, or they forget what was told and have to be told things repeatedly

@@Lunarastro if Saturn is in 7th house then 11th house which represents left ear and 3rd house which represents right ear becomes Trines to seventh house where Saturn is deposited, so indirectly it affects both the houses as in Nadi it is said trines represents single house (1,5,9 represents self). So it can affect both the ear based on other placements in the Chart.

The first point when saturn is there in 7th house ,that native will be dominated by his spouse so in that case for others he/she will be deaf.
There's a difference between listening and hearing. The deafness refers to listening but not hearing.
Saturn in 7 deafness - my husband has saturn in Capricorn, after two and half years of marriage, husband hit my right ear, ear drum ruptured right away very painfully, could listen with right ear for about half a year .

7th house Saturn, deafness may not be complete lack of hearing unable to get immediately. Probably, because 3,7, and 11th houses represent natural airy signs and among these 3 and 11th house represent our ears. Actually Saturn in 7th may show native will be dominated by his wife but the native does not follow or listens to his wife, this might be the reason that Saturn here is referred to as deafness. Deafness not in a literal sense but not listening to the wife this is what I think ""deafness"" might be written here.
Saturn in 7 th house..after marriage of a year native started making mistakes in job eventually lost jobs. Was getting new jobs but making mistakes ..so either he left or was removed..never want to go job.
