My dark poison deck includes pokeGO Alolan Raticate, BStar Muk, and RebClash Garbodor with Champath Trubbish b/c venoshock. Poison Barb and Dust Island included are great as well
I booted up the ol' GBC emulator recently to play the old school first generation Pokémon TCG recently. I only allowed myself to use GLC decks to see how the format would work with only gen 1 cards. Worked surprisingly well. Very fun.
Monty hall at 22:50 Guess is stadium in drawing deck which is 12/41 to be true and 29/41 not to. We learn whether it is in the discard pile. If it was we end our efforts. If it's not we have the 29/41 we were wrong and should switch our guess to prize deck. Though we are unable to draw from the prizes so might as well take the worse chance and use the trainer card.
@trickygym have you tried doing a Psychic Ultra Beast build in GLC? Bacephalon, Nagandel, and DW Necrozma could all make good attackers and allow access to Beast Ring, Mysterious Treasure, and Ultra Space to dig up your attackers faster than just with the just the normal Ball package in GLC. Still gives access to Marshadow and the accelerator squad: Cresslia, Malamar, and Shinny Mew to hit fast.
I've got a Poison deck of my own that I'm rather fond of in the regular format. Playing an incomplete version of it online however, revealed that there IS a deck that fully counters and nullifies poison. It's a steel type deck, and it's rather annoying.

Question regarding GLC - how does unidentified fossil work - is it even playable and if so can it be played in all types? The reason I ask is its a item card but counts as a colourless 60 hp pokemon. And colorless is a option in itself. So if I want to evolve it into a kabuto (rock type) is that ok?

Hey Tricky, do you think the GLC format would be viable if only using the Sword and Shield sets? The use of letters to denote standard rotation is really handy, and I think it would be great to have era-specific formats, if that makes sense.
I played GLC with base set on a GBC emulator recently and it works surprisingly well. I don't see why GLC would ever not be feasible for any given era, you'd just miss out on the best available combinations and all the options. Since you usually have to match up with friends for GLC anyway, there's nothing stopping you from agreeing a self-imposed ruleset.

he could use scolipede 107/198 so he can do 220 dmg if the enemy is already poisoned, and it can also poison it

This is EXACTLY a the concept I have been working on with alolan raticate and zoroark!

Need the radiant hisuian sneasler. That one also adds the extra two poison damage
