I figured your time line out. moving plus trying to get content out is a big deal. I'm glad your enternet is rolling along. Like i said all good things come with time. next thing you know you'll be all moved in and fall hunting will be here and we can share our bigbuck pic's. my plots have really developed into good things. best of luck..
@@KapperOutdoors2.0 I have property in the noth west of west va and off 75 west. your tempting me with the xtra property you might sell. very pritty land out that way. at this point we only buy land over 350 acures. not trying that hard. deals some times just fall in our lap.. my wife finishes her degree in a year and the company hase offered her jobs in both west va and tenn. one day at a time..
Awesome! As I was watching the drone footage I was like my barn would go there the pastures would be fenced there the outdoor and indoor wings would here and here and the cross country course would go over there! 😂😂😂😂. Simply gorgeous and I love the turkeys! Very exciting and thanks again for keeping us apprised of your MO happenings!
Not yet! I'm pretty sure it is an electrical/sensor/regen issue!! Ugghh. I'll be taking it in on my next trip to MO but they are 3 weeks out on repairs so it will be awhile. This green bs is a bunch of... BS!!!!
Why did you get an orange tractor and not a green one ? why didn't you plant potatoes instead of beans and corn ? why did you put the hay barrels over there ? just kidding. I can tell you are having a great time and like a kid in the candy store. No need to defend yourself.
lol Well I HAD two green tractors! So I do have some experience! But yeah, soooo much to do, and such a big blank canvass.. But not enough time and energy! But hey, living the dream, one acre at a time!! Thanks
I guess you are finding out that Hay beans are grown mostly for the foliage and not so much to make beans. So the 1st heavy frost will pretty much take care of them for the season. So why not go ahead and be planning on most of your bean plots being replanted with a late fall brassica/clover/winter rye blend? Anyhoo, you'll know a whole lot more about the deer population on your new property by then!!
Them were the ONLY beans I could get! Everyone was out of stock!! Literally!! So I hope they still grow some pods, they are supposed to but they are also supposed to grow more forage leaves so time will tell.
I am glad the beans are popping thru the ground. It is always fun to see your work turn out good.

@@KapperOutdoors2.0 yeah but as a farmer myself got to look at the positive side of things
Keep plugging along ! Equipment issues are the worst ! Frustrating to say the obvious but the time and expense really sucks !
Oh no doubt about that! At least I got 95% done and it didn't quite at like 20%!!
looking good Next yr it will be even better for you. YOu will have more time
Beans are coming up good Kapper.
Oh yes I'll take some 'rain luck' any day of the week!! Fingers crossed!! Thanks!

Warning! Food plotting is addictive. Look at poor Phil, he's already lost all of his hair!
lol be careful!! Addictive and expensive!!
Kapper, what did Phil spray? Roundup?
yes, before they germinated but to knock the hay back.

@@KapperOutdoors2.0it'll work out fine.
Heck up here in Central Iowa they are harvesting oats over beans that are popping up already.
👀👀
Why are you worried about the deer eating the soybeans before they get mature.
Because it would be nice to have some beans for the late season for deer and not just summer food :)
