You could just see both of your happiness as you made your announcement of your new baby. Congratulations! And thank you for the crockpot recipe, will be making that for sure. Really appreciating your advice on raising rabbits.
Congratulations on your baby boy! So glad I found you and your family! My partner and I jumped into building our rabbitry when the economy started looking scary and so glad we did. Couldn’t have done it with all the amazing info and work you have put into your videos. Thank you for all that you and your family does
So happy for you guys .... congratulations and many blessings to your family with this new baby! I would had never imagined you guys have 24 and 21 year old guys already! Such lovely family. God bless you all... and St. Joseph and the Most Blessed Mother Mary protect you all.
Please do a podcast! I disagree with you often on many things but still love the general info. As a guy who who pays for multiple podcasts and listen to em all day. I'd love this
Congrats on your little one! I truly enjoyed hearing about your in-laws. I too, lucked out in that area. My FIL was a WW2 D-Day Veteran and my fishing buddy. He was never afraid to hug me or chew me out when I needed it. He was a real man's man. My MIL was a beautiful woman inside and out and treated me like her own son from the first time my then girlfriend first introduced me. She was an amazing cook and wonderful grandma! They're gone now and I still miss them! Oh, and please start the blog!
Congratulations! I will definitely be looking forward to hearing your podcasts! Hope you will throw in some stuff about Bobby's bee's and some hunting in there too! I enjoy that crossover that you throw in there from time to time... without you doing that, I might not have made it over to check out those channels
Huge congratulations on your new baby. Am new to rabbits and was recommended to follow you, I'm really learning alot, thank you for doing these videos.
Congratulations on the new baby! I'm not a podcast guy so I'll probably will miss out on any content you make in that space. Your you tube channel is wonderful. I love videos just like this one, FAQ's followed up with a recipe. I'm looking to start more of a rabbitry for myself, friends and family than a regular business. Who knows what it may grow into though. Given the awesome info you've already shared on your you tube channel, I am about ready to sign up for your rabbitry course.
Good to know! this would be audio conversations covering rabbitry topics and it would be something you'd listen to on a drive or doing some chores. Thanks for the honest feed back. It's very much appreciated
congrats on the little one. will you be using nesting box or kindling tote? I would like a live RUclips that you could take questions and get a community of likeminded people helping & learning from each other. Thanks for the vids they have been so much help. Best wishes to you and yours.
CONGRATS on the new addition. Another awsome video. Unfortunately I'm challenged , I have no clue what a pod cast is. But if it gets your info out to more ppl. I say go for it.
Absolutely Call your county clerk and find out how much meat you can sell without a license you don't have to give them your address just enquiring about rules and regulations. Best of luck!
@@TheRabbitryCenter great will do. I just had my frist liter of Kits so I’m off and running lol. Plan to put some in freezer for us to start with TY for info
I appreciate the information I am older but new to the rabbit business and your information has really helped so much I have lionhead and Flemish Giants is there a breed larger than the Flemish?
Got a question for you Bobby I have pure breed american chinchilla rabbits, my first set of kits came January 16 Anyway, my question....why do slate grey doe have white red eye? Is it just purity or what?. Thanks Hey CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU GUYS
I have long narrow plastic organizor bins and I mount them high enough that the kits have to sit up on their haunches to reach the food. Then they can't dig
That is a long trip. Rachel and I have had to do that a couple times as well. I always recommend picking a nice hotel and restaurant, making a date night of it (if possible)and then heading back after your morning appointment.
🎉Pod cast please❣ We have rabbits to once a week because we're elderly retired and lazy so we do that in our cast-iron enamel pot on the stove and it comes out so delicious the only problem is it's so heavy my arthritic hands cannot lift it so my husband is good for the job so once a week he washes it up in hopes to have another roast rabbit that following week
I can't wait to be elderly retired and lazy. Lol. Still playing catch up after arm surgery. Hopefully I can get a chance to learn more from Jason in the near future. I'll be sure to keep you updated regarding that. Reading your comment makes me hungry. How do you prepare your rabbit in the cast iron pot? Thanks
@@TheRabbitryCenter the 1st thing to learn is make everything easier not better! lol for someone like you who luv to be busy... hunting and rabbits and a hired hand. My rabbit stew is easy squeasy. I use peanut oil and brown the meat. Add onion carrots potatoes salt and pepper. My hubby can't eat most spices. I cook it on the stove at least a few hours or as long as I can keep hubby away from it 😋 I think we prefer whole rabbit rather than cut up. ... remember retired rule #1! Until then have as much fun as you can. So happy to hear you're recovering bottom you're surgery, take care ❣🤠
We have started doing that and now allow up to two specialty breeds. Unfortunately not every rabbitry returns my emails when reaching out. We'll continue to try and keep it updated
Bobby help?! One of my 16 day old bunnies died night before last . Very skinny, half size of the others.. today it looks like my other 4 are having diarrhea too now.. please tell me, how do I help them recover
16% protein pellet dried hay Freshwater twice a day and give mama some black oil, sunflower seeds, or some whole oats to eat a punch 2-3 times a week- no greens fruit or veggies as of now

I’m not sure about the podcast. I don’t think I would rush to listen to it but if you converted it into a video with the same content, I most likely would. :)
Enjoy the info you provide but that is not rabbit stew, it is rabbit soup. Different ways for cooking each and the end flavor and appearance is different. Nothing wrong with rabbit soup; I am a big fan of both soups and stews.
@@TheRabbitryCenter while you can add flour to thicken, if you cook like a traditional stew it isn't necessary as it will create its own thickening. You can go to thrift stores and try to find old recipe books to see how it used to be done. As I said, there is nothing wrong with however you like it.
It's just video background music. This is intended to add an atmosphere to the lesson. Music plays a very important part in making your video worth watching and meaningful. It's important to choose the appropriate volume in order to Compliment the video and not drowned out the speech. Thanks for watching!
I had a doe I could not get bred she would not cooperate with any buck. Good idea to table breed her first. Saw this too late as she is goi g to be butchered next week

Thank you for your answer.. my research on the side resulted in a suspicion of weaned too early.. should I supplement with goat milk (I read)
She doesn’t seem to be letting them nurse.. could this be from rebreeding her too early? I waited 2 weeks?

When you don't add flour. When you add flour this gives it a thick gravy. Which turns from soup to stew. It's pretty tasty. Hope you enjoy it.
