Great specs for any phone under 30k in India, but the issue is after sales service and I know 3 people who mistakenly bought it thinking it is still providing the quality as it did when it was under Huawei's wing. All 3 of them are facing issue with the screen and service centre is unable to provide any repair or replacement for their phones and it's over 2 months for 1 of them, and we are living in a Tier 1 city. I don't think unless they improve their after sales service people should buy their phones.
@@nekochan1510-o4e Who cares if it doesn't? It's not like anyone would buy it even if it did! I won't buy any product which doesn't have a service centre.
I've been following your content since 2015. I remember my first smartphone was the Samsung Galaxy J7 from that year, and now I have the iPhone 13 Pro Max. Oh, those days, Before purchasing J7, I watched almost every review video for 2 to 3 months. I followed creators like you, MKBHD, Geeky Ranjit, Unbox Therapy, and many others. Since then, I’ve developed a passion for watching phone and PC reviews every single day. After a long break, I’ve recently started watching your videos again. It brings back such good memories! I don't know what happened to Ranjit brother; his videos are not coming to my feed anymore. I always loved his honest opinions and speaking tone.
Basically, Honor 300 (non-Pro) but with downgraded selfie camera, rectangular-ish rear camera, glass at back & SD 8 Gen 3 chipset to stay true to GT lineup & called it a day
This is one shot fantastic, Early bird than any other there..C4E is faster than the launch in other markets..😂😂..lol bro..thats once again fantastic narrative..👍👍
Looking at the new smartphone camera designs, it seems like the companies are competing to come up with the weirdest designs. It's as if design complexity has become more important than camera functionality and user experience. In contrast, brands like Samsung and Apple really deserve praise. They keep the same camera design every year, focusing on improving it. Maybe their designs aren't at the cutting edge of innovation, but at least they aren't subject to any wacky tests. If a new design is less effective or less attractive than the old one, it makes more sense to keep the same old design. Because at the end of the day, satisfying user needs should be the main goal of a brand.

After sales service is the name of the game Ash. Too many bad exp stopped me personally from buying a honor phone. Went with a Vivo V40. Happy with it till now and also have a peace of mind that the service center right at the city center and that too it is great (heard from people )
Yes, spot on over software letting it down. Regarding photography with the 2.5 X telephoto camera, there's a big difference in detail capture between high-res and the normal pixel-binned mode; bigger than you might expect. Also, while colour accuracy is generally superb, the dynamic range does seem suboptimal giving blocked in shadows with landscapes. There isn't a manually selectable HDR option. If you select HDR, the camera uses it only when it decides it's necessary. What finished it for me was an occasion when shooting a stone viaduct under strong, autumnal sunshine. The algorithms obviously got it wrong, to the extent the image detail looked ridiculously artificial under modest enlargement. At that stage, I regretted parting with X3 Superzoom. I now have a Realme 13 Pro Plus, and the quality of the pictures is significantly better. The OS also feels faster, despite only having Snapdragon 7S Gen 2, rather than the Gen 3 on Redmi 14 Pro Plus. I think the RAM on all but the top model (512 GB ROM/ 16;GB RAM) being UFS 2.2 may account for this, as I believe it's UFS 4.0 on the Realme 13 Pro Plus. Another minus is the selfie camera. It' doesn't support 4K video, and the quality of the stills is noticeable soft. There is🎉 one salient feature though: the battery life is fantastic. Viewed as a rugged phone, this is an excellent package for anyone not needing an IR night vision camera, but as ordinary midrange smartphone, it's just a decent midranger with some novel features, but significantly flawed. It's definitely no flagship!
Hey Ash, I have been watching you since the beginning when you had a partner. I did not know that you have left Chennai and become a resident of China. Best wishes for the future

@@ronalisaiascabralsantana neo 10 has better camara sensor, why? The Sony IMX921 is an incredibly powerful sensor used in high-end devices like the Vivo X200 series. Its f/1.8 aperture significantly enhances image quality, especially in low-light conditions. Thanks to the wide aperture, more light enters the sensor, resulting in impressive photos even in darker environments. In wide-angle shots, while the images look great in well-lit areas, the wider aperture can cause a shallow depth of field. This means the edges of the image may appear slightly blurred, while the center remains sharp. However, this isn’t very noticeable due to the software corrections in the IMX921, which help maintain excellent sharpness throughout the image. For portrait shots, the f/1.8 aperture provides a major advantage by creating a stunning bokeh effect. With the shallow depth of field, the subject remains sharp and well-defined while the background is beautifully blurred, giving the photos a professional look. Compared to a DSLR, this effect is nearly identical, making the IMX921 an excellent choice for high-quality portrait photography.
