Excellent Video. I appreciate your attention to detail. Very informative and great workmanship. I needed the idea of putting the windlass under the anchor locker door. This idea will help me tremendously. Again, Thank you for the great idea!
Well I just bought an old school manual winless that I'm going to have to bolt to the deck it's going to add about 85 lb to the weight up there, oh well. That fancy stuff is for Rich folks anyway.
Looks good man, you must have learned that from copying my style. Cept I only use Epoxy. You can use Epoxy over Polyester but you can't use polyester over epoxy. Especially when the polyester boat had many years to cure. That cloth to, I have that, and in 45 ounce, from Germany sewn for use in propeller windmill blades. I even have 50 some yards of left over Kevlar from the Lockheed Martian aerospace division in California they sell me at a fraction of what you pay wholesale. Don't worry, I won't ever tell my haters, they're to smart for me. Carry on.

Can I install this on my 23 foot chris craft boat and it does have a below deck anchor locker at the bow.
Great! Can you help me. What anchor role you used?
Wow great video subscribed
Is it some special properties that the windlass shall have when it is installed like this, when it is mounted below and hidden under the hatch?
Forgot to say - great video!
