Do backlogs incurred during the previous degree matter when applying for the MBA in the USA?

With backlogs, you need to illustrate to the admissions committee how you’ve managed to have an upward trend despite these setbacks. It’s not about having the setbacks, but rather how you move past them. I hope this helps! 😀

This was great. I'm doing campus visits and saw Johnson isn't doing any... anyway if I am creative but also like finance... I guess I could really go either way then

Wondering if you were able to land a summer internship?

Still in the recruiting phase I’m afraid! 😀

Given that your background is in engineering, did you at any point consider going the Digital Technology Immersion (DTI) route for your MBA? Why/why not? How is DTI different from IB at Cornell (in terms of recruitment, job opportunities, difficulty, etc.)? Thank you!

I felt that the DTI immersion prepares you more for tech-based management roles and I wanted to be a part of the business/finance side of things. I think that DTI is great for those who are interested in tech/have a tech background and want to stay in that field. It just wasn’t the path that I chose. Hope this helps! 😀
