I'm sorry to hear about family things going on. In regards to your mom have you looked into will they pay you ? Sometimes since you have been doing the home health they will pay you for it ... that could work since you already have been doin it + brings extra income in the home. I also understand if you wanna separate person coming as well. As another food for thought not sure if you have power of attorney or at least medical power of attorney (which doesnt start until they medically can no longer make decisions) you might wanna look into that as well.
Im so sorry to hear about the hard things in the family. I wanted to add to this. Being a caregiver is a huge responsibility and very overwhelming, especially when it's a parent. We went through this with my dad. In home health can be a huge blessing. Just remember it's OK to step back and take a break at this time in your life. You need to take care of yourself too.❤❤
