I completely understand Turkey. I was in a small clan of ex-comp players. We were really tight, always planned on tanking together on Friday nights. We went beyond discord to everyone sharing their personal cellphone numbers to text each other when we played. That all ended with 6.0 and the demise of 5 man platoons. There were 5 of us in the clan so it was perfect. We had people that would wait to see if someone wasn't going to be on so that they could jump in. I still play every once in a great while, but we went to path of exiles. Everyone else in the clan quit tanks altogether. I have a passion for old muscle cars as I own several. I now enjoy wrenching on my 69 GTO or my 1970 Super Bee as well as cruising around on my old Suzuki. Best of luck in all that you do. I'm sure that you will find success in all that you do!
I understand and applaud your decision. 6.0 forced me to consider things and I realized I was spending a lot of time playing this game and missing out on so much more that I could be doing. I've played a few games after each patch but the love is lost and now my yard looks great, I've got the honey-do list drained and we're doing a lot more day trips for fun. So keep on enjoying life and don't feel like you have to look backward.
Totally feel this way as well. Particularly, the ENJOYMENT of the game has diminished to probably the lowest levels ever for me. I play this game to have fun, reduce some stress, and have a good time - but since 6.0, and admittedly since Mercenaries, my enjoyment has plummeted and my stress levels and anger with this game has skyrocketed. Between the incompetent and arrogant Devs, the bugs, the countless failed Updates over the years, the awful MM, the seemingly "rigged" RNG (I say seemingly because I know it's not purposefully rigged but damn sure does seem like it), and probably the worst of all, the HORRIFIC playerbase that has deteriorated over the last two to three years - it's just too much to handle. I should not be getting angry and stressed playing a F2P online game. But yet, here I am - doing just that. And many others are too. Sometimes the best solution is just to come to the realization that this game is doomed, throw in the towel, diminish support, and move on to something more enjoyable and fun.

And unfortunately, the colossal failure of 6.0 somewhat made the decision to move on a lot easier for many players. Pretty sad seeing all of these awesome content creators for Console move on and quit over the last six months. That being said, who doesn’t enjoy taking in the beauty of the outdoors? I was super active in the Scouts and loved camping and going on weekend backpacking trips. Got my Eagle rank in 2015. That was 6 years ago - I’m 24 now. How time flies. Best of luck in the future!

Just take the channel outdoors i full understand and agree i live in a small town in the south love being outdoors fishing boating hiking you did an awesome job with the tanks i learned a lot i dont play anymore either got rid of my Xbox spent too much money and time on it stay healthy and safe live life

Fully understand the reasoning behind your playing tanks less. Sad day for me, as you were the sole reason for my grinding light tanks. I loved your content, you made it look so easy. Photography is a great hobby. You certainly have an eye for a good picture and great light. I also enjoy landscape photography. Looking at your photos, I wondered how a couple of them would have come out if you had used a Lee Filter ‘Big Stopper’. Growing up is so sad lol. I quit tanks a few years ago but kept playing Xbox with my friends. I had to stop playing when my job switched to first shift. My RUclips channel is doing pretty well these days too and takes up a lot of time. So unfortunately, my video game days are all but over.

I agree with the moving on from tanks I’m doing the same atm. I may get back to playing some time but right now I feel like doing my shooting sports hobby. I guarantee I’m not gonna be missed like you are,TTT. 6.0 and the lack of fixing the bs from that fiasco makes it easy to be honest, to take breaks.

Fair play Turkey,I'd say it's a good decision (hard one I know) to step away from WoT but its to pursue your outdoor activities passion. Yeah your videos will be missed but seeing your photos of your adventures on Twitter/Discord etc who wouldn't stop playing to go se what have. I've got to the point not being bothered if I play or not now Most times it's a drag to try and a get win. And the ops are all pretty much the same now Not interested in Cold War and that costs ridiculous amounts of silver to play even with ops for it. No worries m8. I’m doing my own thing as well. Pursuing an outlet with my service dog, so I started a new RUclips channel that will feature him and I. Anyway. We are outside a lot now. Walks, nature, swimming. I took my dad who has terminal cancer out to his hometown he grew up in, Minnesota. We’re out here now actually. I’m starting my own company for dogs, and my time will be vested there. I still play tanks. I actually enjoy the Cold War, and converted my spare change over to it. I haven't played properly since the valour tank earn op when this game came out I got addicted love it thought it was the best game out there even went to tankfest because of this game I still go but I sadly don't play this game at all these days I play ships more relaxing plus I too like the outdoors and found hiking and kayaking absolutely love it I was always an outdoor person life got in the way plus playing games and I always felt I was letting my friends online down if I wasn't on but you got to move on sounds weird but it was cool playing with people from all over the world when I play now I play solo because you do get caught up playing for hours with friends but doing other things other than sitting in front of the computer screen is much healthier,maybe start a channel on you're hiking and climbing turkey some of them channels are huge anyway good luck in whatever you do mate 👍

I enjoyed WOT, however the 6.0 Patch; I also found WOT was “dominating my life” and found other interests, since the game is basically a “dumpster fire”. Yep - sums it up pretty nicely. The list of consistent content creators has shruken dramatically. I can probably count the # of regular uploaders on one hand now (Petty360, CloneGuy, RandyDuck, Eclipse ... and that's about it ...) compared to just a single year ago.
