1) First of all Angular JS has no 2 version.
2) Angular has a version 2 and Angular and Angular JS are two different things.
3) To learn Angular 2 you have to learn "TypeScript" first because we write Angular 2 code in Typescript.

In your case all numeric values will be added. What is the argument is like this

Here we don't want to add second value 25 because that is a age of the person. We just want to sum only numeric value which comes after 3rd value Gender.
