How can you be pros and design a free ride ski with not enough front rocker? I just got the Saba 107 2024 and even though it has 107 it has no meaning since the front rocker is not high enough. They will not float as much as others in super deep snow. At this point there is maybe like 2 skis on the market that know what they are doing. Everyone else is building skis for groomers. There is no point of having 107 width if you don't have rocker. That 107 is just extra weight for no reason. It's not the width of the ski that floats you. It's a combo of 3 things and it has to be kept in check otherwise you end up with wide ski that does nothing. I'm not sure if I should unwrap my Sabas 107. My DPS Wailers 2016 T2 Hybrids were 99s and they floated as good as anything up to 110 because the front rocker was correct.
The only thing I hated about this video was the fact that I watched it at the END of the season. Looked so fun. I want those SABAs.
