Nice video. Bilbao must be, within its category in terms of population (around 1 million), commercial and tourist activity, the worst connected European city by train in the whole EU. Travel times are appalling and not competitive. Hence, the number of long distance train services is pathetic (3 trains per day!) and passengers are close to zero. It seems that with the impending opening of the High Speed line between Valladolid and Burgos things may improve a little bit. We'll see. It's been + 30 years since they promised improvements.
Hi, thank you very much for your comment! Yea, I wish the new AVE line to the north will be open as soon as possible. In this moment, the bus trip takes less time than this train by 1 hour.
@@trainviewreports3939 Yes, and buses run hourly most of the days. However, starting July 21 they will open the new line up to Burgos, shaving off another 30 minutes of total travel time and making it somewhat even with the bus. It could even take less time if Renfe decided to run semi-express services. But it's too much to ask. It's obvious they could not care less . Schedules will still be very inconvenient and the number of services woeful. Anyway, again, nice video.
Thank you for the info! Yes, as the video shows, there are AVE trains stopped at the Burgos station and new railroad are constructed. Also, after Burgos there is a section where the railroad gauge changes between standard and Iberian, perhaps. So, definitely there will be a new line of AVE here. When it is open, I will take a new line of AVE:) Thanks a lot.
Well, there is one (and just one) train daily. Good luck with the renfe webpage. The most unfriendly page I have ever seen. The app works slightly better.. @@christopherhagans4488
Hope you enjoyed Bilbao!!!! I loved!!!
Yes, I did!
Was watching this to see more of the landscape. Is it worth the time to travel by train...
Great video
Thanks!
The name of the station of Bilbao is Bilbao Abando, with B. or sometimes Bilbao Abando Indalecio Prieto. No Hate, Good Video.
Thank you very much for your feedback!! I corrected it in the thumbnail, subtitles and summary.

this train ride is safe from hunger, we can eat and drink leisurely...
Thank you very much for your comment!!! Yes, you wouldn’t need to worry about it. But as subtitles, the prices are on-board price....
