Thanks for the cover it made me realize how Ainz might think about himself right now "In the dark and dirty light, my corrupted self becomes exposed. This silence once again thrusts upon me a punishment of solitude" And from the lyrics in romaji text Yume is supposedly a "Dream" but it doesn't make sense in the lyrics but what if its in kanji means Gensou "Illusion" I'm still trying to understand the lyrics what is the meaning behind it. Ainz live as an undead his humanity is fading each day as the episode goes on until S3 the moment where he question himself. As you all know the First one is about "Where's my soul? Where's my heart? Am I losing my own self?". You can think of Ainz trying to reach his own humanity represented by his past experiences with his friends, but as the hope of finding his friends keep fading away, so is his feelings, letting only the all mighty overlord who are willing to turn over the entire world searching for something he cannot obtain. Now back to S3 Ending Silent Soltitude, Do you guys remember the part where all Floor Guardians have their own interpretation, which are Good and Evil is what I want to say. While Ainz is in light reaching for his humanity that he can't attain. This is my interpretation about that part, since his skeleton hands turned into pieces just like his humanity is about to disappear, the reason why his humanity is about to disappear is because of his longing to be reunited to his friends "dead". The lyrics may be hinting towards Ainz, realizing or coming in to terms with the heinous acts he has committed against the world, but unable to say or do anything about it, silently accepting what he has done. No one will be left with whom he can have a true interaction with since he has become the Overlord and can't change that, and the world he is left in is like a cruel dream. First half is about his slow descent into the Overlord persona as it slowly becomes the identity he adopts both intentionally and unintentionally. Fear, rage, and cruelty in the world keep him from breaking this image. Latter half of the song places a lot if emphasis on how good and evil are concepts thrown away, much like how his actions are made with good intent but are objectively evil. He seeks to repent for what he has done, but his determination to keep up the persona he has created for the sake of protecting those he cares about leaves him unable to voice his true thoughts. All of this in chasing his dream of reuniting with his friends who have already passed away in the world. As an undead and a player, he can never die, effectively leaving him in Silent Solitude, an endless Ruthless Dream
Yeah, by the end of volume 9 he just throws every care he had out of the window, but hey, history has always been written in blood and civilizations have been built on top of millions of corpses, from a pragmatic POV, Ainz is doing a necessary evil to create a nation and a new world where people's of many races will live in harmony, a future without the dangers of greed, the NW won't end like Earth, as long as the incorruptible immortal Overlord leads, nothing will ever threaten the dream and one day, the Sorcerer King will set his eyes to the stars.

The OP for seasons 1 and 2 and this ED for season 3 tell the story of Momonga/Ainz: At first, he's in a complete panic about his new situation, desperately searching for a way out or a sign of his friends. He barely even cares about what the world does to him at this point, since he's still in shock from the unexpected transportation and doesn't yet grasp the true power gap between his Tomb of Nazerick and the rest of the world. As time passed, he slowly started to accept his existence as an undead Overlord. If the world is going to attack him for existing, then he will return the favor and ensure that they cannot harm the sacred place made by both himself and his friends. Now, he has almost completely transitioned into the undead Overlord, justifying his sins while not expecting anyone to forgive him for making them. In short, he's giving into the idea that his Silent Solitude will never end...
It continually surprises me that Studio Yuraki doesn't have more subscribers. I definitely consider you guys the best around when it comes to English covers. Doubly so because you put out such great work so frequently.....

I... have never put much thought on the ending songs of Overlord, but this one, I could not ignore. I could not ignore at all. In my place, it's not a silent night at all. It's more of a silent morning and a ruthless night. Then again, it didn't matter. Stumbled upon this, and I have to thank you for this cover. Yanking me back to reality.
It's basically like seeing someone unintentionally become that classic rpg villain that's controlling the major government from the shadows using various agents and organizations.
@@fakename779 Since that went unexplained, I'll give my piece. Basically, it's easy for the audience to not view him as the villain due to him being the main character. You are confronted face-to-face with his desires, his struggles, and his own beliefs. He doesn't seem like the villain from this aspect as much, but think about it. He has committed mass murder, spared only those who held worth, and has the blood of many innocents upon his hands. This is the issue with determining morality, because perspective is a major piece of it all.
@@heededshadow509 He doesn't enjoy killing people, or torturing people. He never kills without reason, it is against his beliefs. Sure, he would have no problem killing an entire village if it meant benefitting nazarick but even then it for nazarick. Everything he does is for nazarick and its residents. When innocents are involved, he never kills unless he has to, or it is the easiest way to do things. Sure, he committed mass murder but it is a war, the people there went into war knowing they could die and happened to go against one of the strongest in the world. The world would prosper under Ainz, it would be the greatest it has been in a while. He definitely is a very likable guy under all the undead. If he reaches his end goal elanything lost would be trumped by all the gains.
This song is so nostalgic! Studio Yukari is one of the best Japanese to English Ost Dubbing Channels bruh. Love the Singers Voice. Different and Unique from people like Jonathan Young who has a deep voice for example.
I’ve only started playing D&D recently with a big group of people and now that I have decent knowledge about it. Since Overlord was based around some D&D principles, I can confidently say that Team Nazarik is STACKED. They have 9 people who are the equivalent of level 20(max level) and can cast Super tier or 10th tier spells(world changing spells that are really rare to even find, D&D considers max at 9th). They have people that could be considered between lvls 12-15 which are Titans when average people in the new world are like villagers(not even lvl 1 😂), adventurers are like 1-4, rare ones are like 5-8, and the ones that show up like every few centuries can only MATCH the lvl 12-15s 😂 mostly just lvl 12s. They need a nerf💀.
Not to mention their gear which could only be compared to the gear that was brought by other players in the past. That gear is worth more then most countries in the new world. I think it is a theory that the other players that Ainz wishes to find were all transported to the new world but in different times. That would explain the 8 demon gods and 7 heroes, I think they were called that who appeared centuries before Ainz. Ainz might find other players in the future but watch it be like 500 years in the future. I also wonder if since I know Ainz is never going to use spells that would expend his EXP since he doesn’t know how to get more in the New World, but would he be able to make humans stronger and work for him by expending EXP and like giving it to them, is that possible? Like in Carne village with those people. Could he maybe bring them to the Library on the 9th or 10th floor and have them learn magic and serve him. There are so many things that I would try if I were in his situation but it must be sad but luckily his emotions are dampened by his undead body.
@@Joseiaddict the author said none of Ainz's friends came to the New World and those players before are other people or just the guild building with NPCs without their masters. And regarding whether Ainz would use his exp using magic I don't think so, he would never use it unless he is in that kind of situation. He would never give the humans any real power he is too paranoid for that.
Akshay Ashok Oh yeah, that’s a given. I was just thinking of ways like rewriting their memories using memory magic to be forever loyal to him and then giving them power up to like lvl 30 cause even that would be strong for New World. I do know that he wouldn’t though since he doesn’t know of a way to get exp back but just thinking of ways that would make his team even MORE OP 😂. There are so many things that can be done with the magic they have access to.
If you liked the DnD mechanics in another medium try readin “warlock of the magus world”, after 800-900 chapters you’ll find lot of DnD mechanics. It has absolutely nothing to do with your comment... I just wanted to recommend an amazing light novel to ya!
Truly an unspeakably great cover. It not only adds to the original, but it does so without robbing it of any flow or structure. It's also very well sung and the lyricry (I think that's a word) is masterful!
the world so full of sin and it repeats itself again really relates to our world and how history repeats itself again, the never ending cycle of hate and pain.....beautiful translation and talent in this song. Overlord is the best!
Well Anime does often have very well worded music, very beautiful to listen to. The problem is that alot of it is just written to fit Japanese, thus we often have to look for covers like this, and sometimes people just can't translate it into English and still keep the tone and beat. Such is the barrier of language, words can sound so good in one language if you understand it, but lose the flow or meaning if translated. But this guy did so well, I don't know if the lyrics are correct, but I believe he still captures the feel of the song. ANother good on is Nate Want To Battle's cover of Attack on Titan's "Guren No Yamiya" and the other song "Sasageyo" he captures in those songs the feeling of breaking free of a prison of supposed paradise and breakthrough an unrelenting enemy, personally for me as a Destiny player those songs also fit well as Destiny has a similar general story to AOT, Humanity relegated to 1 city with huge walls where it's elite warriors have to protect it from constant threat, meanwhile some of those warriors journey out beyond the walls and engage the relentless enemy in skirmishes, whether to gain intel or strike devastating blows.
So good. I listened to the original so much that it started to lose its "magic" on me... which I hated since its one of my most favorite pieces of music, but this just showed it to me in a new light! Thank you for this!
OHHHH SHIT , thats like one of the first TranslationCover that fit so damn well to the origianal Sound... Never realy read the og Songtext but just assumed that the translation also exceed realy well in this! YOU got my like
The first opening show how he search for his "heart and soul" as a human being and each song slowly show that Ainz losing his humanity bit by bit till what remain will only be the undead.
That’s one thing I love about the character development of Ainz in the Novel and Anime. Because in most stories it’s the main character growing into the role of the hero or become a better person. In this story Ainz is growing from a good person into an evil monster. The issue is that Ainz realizes it but he can’t stop it. He’s clinging onto his memories of his human life and his friends trying to use them as a reference to measure his humanity but it’s not working. His human life is becoming a distant memory, his undead nature doesn’t allow him to recognize what he’s doing is evil and so every time people tell him how evil he’s being he’s surprised because that wasn’t his intention. He’s losing his soul, his humanity, he knows it and he can’t stop. He forgives no one so their is no one to forgive him for his sins, their is nothing but a never ending wave of death and destruction that he’s causing and just can’t stop. The first OP keeps repeating the line “Where is my soul?”
This blew my mind. New sub, and literally the first Patreon sub I have ever given, your work is THAT good. Captures the heart of the work, and adds new flavor to it. The vocals for this, and all others including the female ones for Hydra are sublime. You all make Amanda Lee look like a neophyte amateur.
Love the lyrics and maybe it’s just me but the singer sounds a lot like the dub voice for ainz which makes this just so much better for me. Makes it feel like an internal dialogue for ainz.
This song is so sad. It's like his human thoughts and humanity is grasping for straws. Can actually feel this song in the left of my chest a little. Oh Momonga.....
You can see it from this song and the show that he is slowly starting to not care about anything other than Nazarick. Its like what little humanity he had is slowly disappearing and only the undead Ainz remains.
Satoru Suzuki (the human behind the Ainz Ool Gown/Momonga character) is rattling the bars of his mental prison like a madman. The books make a nice display of him not wanting a lot of this, but feeling as if he has no choice. It also says how he is tired and drained, Wich makes sense seeing how he didn't sleep ever since arriving in the new world. As an undead, his body doesn't need sleep, but the human mind isn't made for 24/7 use... In a sense his mind is slowly unraveling the further he goes. And I think that both the books and anime display this very nicely. I just wonder where it'll ultimately lead. The overlord regaining his personality and rediscovering Satoru Suzuki, or his ultimate and final death?
@@jordanlockhart2480 I mean the death of satoru. Ainz as the undead character/facade might continue to exist even if Satoru's personality dissolves, so to speak. Sadly it hasn't been established clearly (to my knowledge) that Ainz and satoru are actually separate minds. So far it's just a theory.

This cover is beautiful and I look forward to working my way through the 30+ covers I've shamefully missed. Keep it up, you guys deserve far more recognition than you currently have for certain
After watching the anime and watching this you can really empathize with him because of what hes become and what hes done and this kinda makes me tear up after also watching the end of third ending
Wow! I checked some of ur previous content and it's really good! But truth be told this one can rival all the previous ones put together! It's simply just so awesome!
Who is it, the person, the one to forgive me when I forgave none. Somehow I think this song reflects how the story will conclude. Absolute power will corrupt absolutely and in the end Ainz will be all alone.
The song reffers (as much as i can tell from my IMO) taht, despite his overwelming, almost infinite power, despite that he could conquer the entire continent, and even the entire New World, despite all the rices and wealth, he is truly alone. Not even the guardians can fill that empty hearth. A hearth that, sooner than later, will ends corrupt and withered, If you analize the song after reading the books, you will see that the story isn't about conquering a New World, but about how Ainz stops being human one murder at a time.
It's been 3 years, but we finally have a season 4. I can't wait to see how Kelly Mahone is going to cover the beautiful ending theme of season 4, and of course how sam luff is going to cover the op.
Wow, hearing this in English makes so much more sense now. When I tried to read the subs of the original, it was non sense. But now this song makes perfect sense and fits so well with what’s happening to Ainz.
This song represents "The Albedo Conspiracy - Albedo’s Secret Elite Hit Squad" because if you have listened to the overlord ending in english you can make connections with this from that because the lyrics make it seem as if she would do anything for him aka in the 1st one it shows how albedo is crazy for him and how she is suffering "Don't you give me your love and passion" and in the 2nd one it shows how she wants him to not worry like in the 1st line she says "Do not hesitate when you watch it break" and if "you" refers to Ainz/ Momonga "it" refers to the supreme being's friendship then we can conclude that she wants him to forget it and the lyrics go on to say that "if you see whats in my hands, im showing you whats left" aka the NPS and they're in her hands because she kinda like controls them being the head and all and now in the 3rd ending is more concentrated on Ainz and it I belive is going to say what will happen in the future anyway its Ainz finally accepting the fact that his friends won't be coming back "Sleep for eternity" a line from the song says he knows that they won't be coming back and is goes on to say "Good and evil clash with God and these emotions. No one yet can see that evenone has been disposed" shows how he knows they the supreme beings have been disposed from the new world also in near the begining the songs says "The grieving, the fury, enveloped inside, such a maelstrom it roars so loud" and if the noise means his emotions then the line "I'm drowning out the noise" means he is removing those emotions for his companions which means he does forget about them. (This is just my opinion so chill if its wrong or missing some stuff cuz im just a webo kid)
Don't worry there's no such thing . From what I heard or read , albedo doesn't like the fact other supreme beings left them for personal reasons , so she doesn't like the fact ainz is paying attention to others .

I LOVE THIS ENDING AND I AM SO GLAD YOU GUYS DID THIS! It is AMAZING
The OP for seasons 1 and 2 and this ED for season 3 tell the story of Momonga/Ainz:
At first, he's in a complete panic about his new situation, desperately searching for a way out or a sign of his friends.
For me it's still the best ending of all seasons, hope season 5 would give us another banger and we hear your version of it too.
Not just for ending but the best theme for overlord.
"YOU ARE A GOD! TRULY AN ENTITY OF THE TENTH TIER! I AM UNDESERVING, I KNOW THIS! BUT I BEG OF YOU, O' GREAT ONE, MAKE ME YOUR STUDENT! I WANT TO SEE THE CHASM OF MAGIC! I WANT TO TREAD UPON THE THREADS OF CREATION! SHOW ME, PLEASE! I'LL GIVE EVERYTHING! ALL THAT I HAVE IS AT YOUR DISPOSAL MY LORD! I KNEEL BEFORE YOU, O' DEEP ONE! O' WISE MASTER OF THE CHASM!!"

@@annaf8690 Honestly for anyone looking for ultimate power, or even just an understanding of the power that runs through reality such as magic, it would make sense to view him as a god and want to worship him for knowledge. For those saying he's too evil for worship, so is the old testament version of Yahweh.
@Ainz Ooal Gown. You got the name. Lucky.
Legion is fun watch after these shows! :)
I fucking love "o' deep one!" XD
best quality anime with great supporting characters and plot
Wow, the team is so passionate about what they do, and to share it with everyone. Thank you so much for using your time, your resources, your heart in these covers, such an amazing and professional job. I hope and with for far more succes in the future and that many more have the chance to enjoy your talent and hard work, but also to support you in many ways.
Usually I dont like english version but. . . . .this is 🔥🔥
Indeed
THIS IS FUCKING FIRE I KNOW
I know, right?
These guys make top notch covers.. at am official level of quality.
Lol that's what I'm saying 🤣🔥
I... have never put much thought on the ending songs of Overlord, but this one, I could not ignore.
I could not ignore at all.
In my place, it's not a silent night at all. It's more of a silent morning and a ruthless night.
Then again, it didn't matter.
Stumbled upon this, and I have to thank you for this cover.
Yanking me back to reality.
YES and man you guys really spoil us with these.
Thank you.
Sam, you born to sing this! Great adaptation too:D
this anime is the most unique Isekai ever existed the MC itself is the villain.
All hail Ainz-sama
It's basically like seeing someone unintentionally become that classic rpg villain that's controlling the major government from the shadows using various agents and organizations.
@@fakename779 Well yes, but actually no
@@alinastanescu4430 wut
This may be my favorite song of all time, I’m not even exaggerating. I love this so much.
I like all your covers but you guys are on steroids every time you do an overlord song. They are so good!!!!
i second this statement
And I third it
I fourth it
I fifth it
I know I'm late, but I Sixth it.
@@Joseiaddict that's true
If you liked the DnD mechanics in another medium try readin “warlock of the magus world”, after 800-900 chapters you’ll find lot of DnD mechanics. It has absolutely nothing to do with your comment... I just wanted to recommend an amazing light novel to ya!
Oh baby I can’t wait for that OP 4 cover Hollow Hunger. Oh it’ll be beautiful I’m filled with anticipation.
So far i think this is the best english cover of Silent Solitude, both in adaptation and execution.
I already know this is going to be epic
I have listened to this song almost 100 times in 24 hours, help, I'm addicted to it.
There is no other English cover of silent solitude, maybe they knew they can't compete with this
Truly an unspeakably great cover. It not only adds to the original, but it does so without robbing it of any flow or structure. It's also very well sung and the lyricry (I think that's a word) is masterful!
Too amazing, since few days, I started to listen opening english version, and (until now) this is the only one I found as good as japanese version
Yes yes yes, this is one of my favorite overlord songs but no one made a English cover before you. Thanks
the world so full of sin and it repeats itself again really relates to our world and how history repeats itself again, the never ending cycle of hate and pain.....beautiful translation and talent in this song. Overlord is the best!
What did we do to deserve such masterpieces?
supported the greatest Cover Studio in the industry...? xD
This honestly the best english cover of an anime ed/op i've ever seen

This is very nice cover, even your voice almost identical to the original singer. Good job man
What a bop dude, excellent! The violins peaking out just really accent so well
Oh man I can’t wait for season 4 to come out. Especially so that I can listen to your covers of the op and ed.
I wonder if these lyrics are Ainz's own thoughts about his current situation.
Yep, slowly losing his mentality.
The first opening show how he search for his "heart and soul" as a human being and each song slowly show that Ainz losing his humanity bit by bit till what remain will only be the undead.
They are accurate enough, imo.
@I see A lemon Agreed.
Ah, What would I ever do without Studio Yuraki. You guys honestly have the best anime covers! Got em all downloaded!
Almost to 6 years now
Still getting goosebumps
Does anyone else have goosebumps when listening to this song everytime 😅😅😅...
I asked for this and it came out way better than I expected. Awesome job
This is fire as hell, why didn't I find this sooner? Damn me.
Damn this was too good. Usually they don’t translate well but this one was just the way I imagined it in my head 👍😮💨
@@zelktheinvader7874 same with op 1
@@torbenfranke1859 u mean the death of satoru or the death of Ainz? If u mean the death of Ainz, why is that the only option left once satoru is dead?
@@jordanlockhart2480 I mean the death of satoru. Ainz as the undead character/facade might continue to exist even if Satoru's personality dissolves, so to speak.
Sadly it hasn't been established clearly (to my knowledge) that Ainz and satoru are actually separate minds. So far it's just a theory.
Saw this on my recommended and figured I'd give it a whirl.... one subscriber earned. I'd never heard of you before and I was most certainly missing out. Bow before the Overlord
May he ever reign supreme
Not a doubt in my mind this is by far the best English cover around
After watching the anime and watching this you can really empathize with him because of what hes become and what hes done and this kinda makes me tear up after also watching the end of third ending
The second I heard the original I knew you guys would nail the cover
I absolutely adore this. I wish you guys would upload your covers onto Spotify too
I KNOW THE ENGLISH VERSION DID NOT JUST GO THIS HARD!???! My new favorite song and I’m not lying. This show is definitely one of my top 3 anime’s.
Favorite ending of this series. This version is just as awesome
Wow! I checked some of ur previous content and it's really good! But truth be told this one can rival all the previous ones put together! It's simply just so awesome!
Who is it, the person,
the one to forgive me
when I forgave none.
Somehow I think this song reflects how the story will conclude.
Absolute power will corrupt absolutely and in the end Ainz will be all alone.
I think this song about his solitude. Ainz has no friends, no family, nobody except his servants.
My theory is Nazarik will betray him at the end
@@haydenbennett3547 I don`t think so.
@@haydenbennett3547 Very Unlikely, since their creation they've been programmed to be extremely loyal to Ainz and his friends.

Wow, hearing this in English makes so much more sense now. When I tried to read the subs of the original, it was non sense. But now this song makes perfect sense and fits so well with what’s happening to Ainz.
I love this cover
An amazing cover and one of my favorites
That's fluffin deep
@@codexoflols9515 Don't worry, Primoridial Chaos will not forgive any of them that do not truly repent, but your thing rings true. Oh well, they repeat what they sow.
