Another great trip to Eagle. Despite the frustrating experience we always return. Was there last week and had our best year with a couple of guys getting PBs

Brian, Good luck and have an awesome trip. I'm sure you've saw it in the spring, but watch the rocks since the water levels are down. We were surprised several times in several previously safe areas. @@AnglingAnarchy

Good video, thanks for sharing! That would be a great day of fishing on our lake for sure. Eagle must be really cool. Seeing that Lil' Sister reminded me to tell you - my 15 year old son got a super fat 20 inch smallmouth bass on a Twisted Sister a couple of weeks ago. The lure is in a special color from 2021, I think it was called Hell Ya (pink tail) - anyways, we released the fish and are getting a replica made for the wall. My son is a big fan of the pink Twisted Sister now!

@deanmentjes7774 Thank you sir! Eagle is definitely my favorite place to chase these silly fish! That's one hell of a smallie your boy got! Congratulations to him!

I messed up a net job on my youngest sons bass. Would have been his pb at the time. It happens...and we learned from it. We started to pracrice netting and all got better at it. A friend of mine stays patient and lets the fish give up then calls for me to net. Either way, great episode.

@paulziebell yup, We all start out not knowing how to do this stuff and the only way we learn is to make mistakes along the way, and hopefully, we don't repeat them!

That was painful to watch! Someone is probably banned from handling the net 😳

@muskymadness9772 I think sometimes we forget that at some point we were all in Trevor's shoes of not netting that many large fish like muskies. Nobody comes outta the gates a netting expert. The only way to become one is repetition and probably a few mistakes along the way. It's the only way to learn.

A bit of perspective for you, when one spends a full week on L.o.T.W. and not catch any muskie, that is tough fishing. I've done that a couple of times. Seems to me that you're doing pretty well on this trip. Just trying to cheer you up a little.
On a unrelated note, I caught two walleye's on Thursday, 22 & 21 inches on Mille Lacs. This was the first time I've got to go fishing since 2015. It felt great to feel a fish on my line after so many years.

Thanks. It felt good to go fishing and catch a couple.
