My mother was born with red .She dye her hair black before she met my dad and they got married. When we was born we had fare skin and bold headed.When our hair growed we had blonde hair like our grandmother who was white and our grand father was black. On our grand mother's side is Irish, white,hispanic,cheeroke indians,apache indians,and a small amount of black. On my grandfather's side is black.later all of us no longer had blonde hair we had black hair.my siblings stayed fare skinned and I'm the only one that has a combination of reddish brown skin.so I'm very proud of all my ancestors and who they are.

Why not just give the baby up for adoption? And maybe the man entertained her enough so that she thought they could raise the child together but instead left. That is just my take on the story.
