Second review I've seen in two days that suggests a problem with X-Tools bolts, the other reviewer found the belt tensioner bolts on the X-Iool D1 Pro arrived pre stripped, yes its easy to replace but given that X-Tool market themselves at the top end price wise for Diode Lasers thery should be supplying quality bolts
Why would you not compare the xTool RA2 to the Atomstack chuck tool? I used it on other lasers, and the cost of the Atomstack R1 Pro Multi-function Chuck with Roller Rotary is still considerably cheaper than the RA2 Pro. I am actually quite disappointed in the RA2 pro as you have to take it almost completely apart to change from roller to chuck, and the lack of any tilt adjustment on the chuck severely limits its versatility. If I could figure out how to connect the Atomstack to the F1 Ultra, I would toss the RA2 back in the box and return it...
Sí, es compatible con el xtool M1. Debe quitar la placa base de su M1 y usar los elevadores para levantar la máquina de modo que el accesorio giratorio encaje dentro de área de trabajo. Puedes comprarlo aqui: www.xtool.com/products/xtool-ra2-pro-the-worlds-first-4-in-1-rotary-for-laser-engraver-1?ref=rVAr7a1K&variant=43024250339567
So is the Xtool Rotary compatible with many other laser brands? Like, you could use this rotary for a Sculpfun Laser? If so; I might go Xtool for Rotary for my new Sculpfun S30 pro max.
I have tried it with Ortur, Atomstack, Comgrow, and Two Trees. It worked well so I believe it should work with Sculpfun as well. It all depends on what type of cable connector the machine has for the Y0-axis motor. If you can send a pic of your connector to mail@mellowpine.com I can verify.
How did you engrave the coffee mug? Did you prepare it in any way? I tried to engrave a white mug with my 10W Ortur LaserMaster 3, but it didn’t have any effect, even at very slow speed.
For white mugs you need a coat of white paint. You can check out my video on engraving ceramic tile which explains the process in details. It's the same technique for coffee mugs.
Hi i'm interested to by a rotary module but i have a falcon 2 Laser Engraving by Creality. do you thing that RA2 Rotary Module from xTool is compatible with my machine?
Hi, generally, a rotary module can be used with any laser engraver, as long as it supports the type of connectors provided. So, I think it should be compatible if it has the same connectors provided in your Falcon 2.
I would be interested in knowing your opinion on whether the Two Trees version is better? I bought the TT PRO version with the 10W laser based upon you review. Nice video.

I have not used the TT TR2 Pro. From the pics that I saw of it I'll go for the RA2 Pro.
This was so helpful!
Glad you liked the video. 😊
