I know this video is 6 months ago. I’m just so upset this happened to you. That first doctor doesn’t deserve to practice medicine. This could be any of us. I’ve tanned in my earlier years too. You are not alone. We all have things on our skin but doctors do not take it seriously. My doctor said to me within 15 minutes of meeting me, “you’re too young for skin cancer.” Your videos are powerful. Thank you! ❤️
Seeing your attitude change from your first video makes me sad. I’m so sorry that you are going through this. And that the wait for your results is so long. You can’t dwell on the past. The what-ifs.You did the right thing and went to the dr. You are taking care of it. That’s all that matters at this point. It’s ok to feel like this. And I do think it would benefit you to talk to a therapist. Hearing the words you have cancer are hard to comprehend. All the waves of emotion are very overwhelming. Try not to dwell on worst case scenarios. (I know that’s easier said then done) That is what the internet is full of worst case scenarios. And a lot of the videos that you see on RUclips of melanoma or 5 to 10 years old. Ive seen every single one. They have made amazing advances in treating advanced melanoma. I hope your WLE /SLN will be done soon, so you can have all the answers to move forward. And I’m glad to hear your keeping your appt with MD Anderson. It is best be be seen by a melanoma specialist. I don’t know if this will bring you any comfort but you’ll be in my prayers. You got this 💪🏽
