- What we have here is a professional that has the ability to load a 53 foot trailer in a matter of minutes. Very satisfying to watch. #garbagetruck #bigtrucks #garbage #dump #oddlysatisfying
I maybe weird but I could watch them dump trash for at least twenty minutes and pack it in the trailer
That’s not weird. I could too! That’s why I started this channel. Thanks for watching!
@@insmileyfacemur4242 yeah it’s super satisfying to watch.
I have worked for two different garbage companies back in beckley wv and had to go into a landfill and dump trash and got to see them build new cells and pack the trash with heavy equipment
I bet that was a satisfying job!
There’s a lot of us trashies out there. I started connecting with others back in 2001. Anyone is free to contact me, deets on my profile
Wow the 2nd truck around 1:15 it seems like it completely destroyed whatever has been dumped in it if you compare with the other trucks where lot's of bags look almost undamaged at all 😮 And I love the filming angle you've used while pushing the load down around 5:00 👌
You have a good eye. The 2nd truck uses an auger (instead of a compactor) to rip up the garbage to make more room. I’m glad you noticed the angle. I was trying for a higher angle. Thanks for watching!
Wow... !!! My best friend, Great... We liked and enjoyed to the end. Thanks Have a happy day! Keep it up! +thumb up3!
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for watching.
A pro! Lol. Try loading it like we do. Trailer and excavator sit side by side. We can't look into the top. We have no pit. We load with a 320e excavator with a demo claw on it. No bent tarp bars or trailer braces here. You got it made with a pit.
Damn! That’s sounds rough! This isn’t the most effective way to load but it works for this small location. Thanks for watching
I'd rather have a pit anyday. At least we could see what we are doing. Lol
Lol the grass is always greener!
This remains a great local job for someone or people with a Cdl.......always an opportunity to explore. Take pride in what you do however big or small. You'll clean up that mess pretty nicely and efficiently. Personally I love those trucks with all the hydraulics.
Yes I agree. It’s a great job! Also very satisfying. Thanks for watching and commenting.
What's that thing on the bottom of the front end loader bucket attachment?????🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤔🤔🤔🤔
That’s called the sponge or squeegee. It’s basically a guard. It prevents the bucket from grinding the concrete all up when it pushes the garbage. Thanks for watching.
@@AllThingsDope. oh ok now I get it. No problem I really like your waste transfer station videos they are cool 2 watch.👍👍
It's obvious from this video that the USA dont recycle their waste ,in the UK that load would have incurred a £1000 fine if it had gone to land fill as its mixed waste
I agree! it really comes down to how each resident/customer sorts their trash and recycling. if they care they sort properly. the ironic thing also is that this is a location in Oregon. as you may or may not know Oregon "prides" its self in being environmentally conscious. obviously the residents here don't practice what they preach
In the UKwecare given recyclingling bins different local authorities have different colours for the same recyclables ,my particular area have blue for cardboard glass paper and cans ,green forvnon recyclable/landfill/ incineration and Brown for green waste, next county half a mile away have different colour bins
I've seen it first hand sir. Our recycling programs are a joke.
In the late 90's our environmental course instructor showed the study that overall recycling was more harmful because of all the excess fuel burned(carbon emitted) / resources to collect the recyclables.(personally do not buy the whole carbon rel!g!on either, even though not endorsing excess polluting is ever good, since the real science shows if we eliminated carbon emissions all together, we would only move the temp change a minute amount in 10yr cycles ;-)Recycling primarily was used to reduce the refuse going to landfills, thus increasing their service lives. The sensible way would be to bring recyclables to common collection points which we also have here in eastern US to avoid the excess handling unintended consequences. Multiple re-use's of containers is the best way, but that wouldn't allow profits to be as high.
Pretty cool nice footage love to see more full eject stuff too 😀
Thanks! I think I can make that happen! I will do my best. Thanks for watching!
I been doing this for 15 years
Nice they also build those trash trailers here in Idaho
No cross member in the trailer? Are they aluminum or steel trailers?
There is only 2 cross members. One on each end. They are aluminum trailers.
Wish we had a tamper at ours we have to pack everything with a loader lol with a lot of the c n d we get would help a lot.
Amazing
Very KOOL I did it for 22 years NYC
I bet that was a crazy time! NYC is like 1000% bigger than this little outfit!
Brings back bad memories. At least you're not a landfill trying to secure your rear door and go into a pocket of sludge knee deep in the dead of summer. And yes, that was my last day.
Lol! That’s nuts. Yes it would probably be my last day as well! Thanks for watching!
What is the purpose of a transfer station?
Basically if a landfill is too far for the garbage truck driver to drive to on a daily basis after their route. Then we have transfer stations that are able to accommodate a lot of tonnage temporarily from many garbage trucks until it is transferred to a landfill.
I see now, thank you
👍Super👍👍👍👍video👍
Thank you! Cheers!
I’m curious, I hauled trash never seen it loaded like this they did not load our trailers in that particular way and that type of pit. Where is this located at?
This is near Portland Oregon. Thanks for watching
What’s the next phase after it’s packed in trailer
It’s gets transported to a landfill a couple a little over an hour away. Thanks for watching!
Everyone else dumps in the pit....WM just dumps it on the ground...LOL
I thought that too, and he wasn't even empty? There was stuff still in his truck when he was closing the gate?
This particular driver informed the TS workers that his packer blade was falling off the track so he didn’t want to dump in the trailer and risk it falling into it.
Utica dumps on the ground too, then push it up into piles for the grapple to load trailers
Here in Florida we dump at the transfer station but it’s so big that there is always trash surrounding the pit so we just stop and go
@@swiftlyswiftin4836 there is a transferstaion like that in the portland area. Same thing just dump and go. Thanks for watching.
Or we remelt make bricks/blocks that don't break down which is proof because 100 plus yrs and still there and here...
Why didn't he back up to the edge. Why so far up lol
I think it’s because the dock worker didn’t want him to dump in the pit.
Lazy a$$ waste management driver could of backed up a lot closer then that.
Cool video but I’m not sure a pro is going to leave half a bucket of trash every time they back up
I understand what you are saying. Have you considered that he knows there is really no point to fully empty his buck until he is finished pushing garbage into the trailer? It’s kind of a extra step that is counterintuitive . Just a thought. Thanks for watching.
YO THERES A ROTO PAK?!
Great eye! I only showed that for like a few seconds.
If my two 8 yard dumpsters full of daycare diapers and I, wearing only diapers fell out of that truck very much still alive, would I go into that trailer?
Haha! Well I would hope you wouldn’t find your self in that situation. That said it depends on if the Forman wants that load on the floor or trailer.
@@AllThingsDope. So......I take it that.....if the load I would be in, got dumped directly into the trailer, then would the load get compacted again?
@@disposalstoriesinc lucky for you no. There is a 53’ trailer in the hole that get filled up with trash. Once it’s full it gets transported to a landfill where they simply dump the trash. No compacting. So there is a good chance you would survive that also. You would smell terrible and probably wished you had died.
@@AllThingsDope. So.....then I would simply ride to the landfill as is at least until the trailer ....is dumped and the bromag landfill compactor comes and runs everything over.....RIGHT?
@@AllThingsDope. Now....When I get dumped into that hopper, and the trash men see me, legally speaking, they AND the city or company owns me as "unwanted property" and can do with me as they see fit....according to rules. So....would they care if I was wearing thick diapers??? ruclips.net/video/B4pmolRGcQw/видео.html
Wo kommt den der ganze Müll eigentlich hin auf Deponien oder in die Verbrennung 🤔🤔🤔
For this transfer station. It all ends up at the landfill nearby. Thanks for watching!
Incinerating tired as well made of petroleum oil based, filters bleach of some kind so can recycle... If oils in the ground it definitely has to be able to use it...
Free electricity cheaper for everyone and cars going forward like Tron legacy the movie...
Into we tap into the earth natural electric like Tesla suggesting...
Thanks Elon
