I would like to buy these in black for my 2020 KTM XCF-W but there is so much confusion when it comes to axle sizes and what will fit that it's frustrating. There doesn't even seem to be agreement on what fits what. Sometimes even manufacturers list something different than retailers...

    just fitted these myself
that rear axle was a pain in the ass
ended up using a blow torch to heat the thread lock up

and i didnt have any bobbins to jack it up
so used normal bolts in the swingarm
to get the paddock stand on

Hi mate what cotton reels do you use? I bought some standard ones but are flush at the back and don't fit i need a bit protruding and was wondering if the r&g ones will suit

The R&G ones are very popular. I use SM project sliders cos they're pretty. 😂

@@Twedymoto i recently spoke to my parts guy at the local shop regarding changing the gearing on my 701 SM to 15/45. He mentioned something about the possibility of the sprocket rubbing on the swingarm or something like that. Have you encountered anything like this? My parts guy said this might be too much of a change. As long as i still have enough on the top end to reach 100 mph + i feel like this would be a good setup for me. I think i remember you saying this setup would still reach 115 mph...

@@brucefile7430 I've had 115 before from 15/44. I have seen some instances of the chain rubbing through the swing arm slider but don't know what sprocket sizes were used. I'll check for you when I get home 👍

Just checked mine and there's no excessive wear on the swing arm slider. 👍

Front axle sliders the shaft is too short. The threads don't even contact the nylon portion of the locking nut.

Something clearly not right there! Have you contacted SM project? They'll see you right 👍
