Hi Megan, great vlog as always!! I noticed that there might be one more step for threading your sewing machine. With all the machines I've used there was always another hook for the thread on the needlebar before threading the needle.
I've had the app/sum up set up for YEARS and never knew either hahah! I remember seeing it and going 'no wayyyy' 🤭 game changer! The phone app is a little more limited on options regarding inventory I think but still possible! Anytime lovely! I hope it works for you! 💕

I use sumup, recently set up my physical shop, was looking at the POS but then realised I could sumup use it on my iPad! can add all my stock, put prices in so it adds it up for me and track my stock. Though the barcode scanner would make things even easier 😂 ooooooohhh and you can add a variant in each individual item for sale offers, for example, I sell wax melt snappers for £4 or 2 for £7, so I have two variants witin each item the 'Standard single price' of £4 and a 'sale price' of £3.50, works for me instead of having to take the extra steps of manually adding discount!
I use square but have added an option for a “$ off special” so like “$2 off special” “$3 off special” etc. just like you added the “3 for $10” option you would just have it as the dollar amount taken off the grand total. So you would still select the scrunchies they purchase but add in that one option that takes off the amount needed to make them the 3 for $10. I hope that makes sense. 😅

I don’t actually have a reader for it, but my Monzo Business account is run by Stripe (like I can use my phone as a terminal which is cool) - was wondering what their fees were since you mentioned it. Currently as of this comment, it’s 1.4% + 10p charge for transactions with EEA (that’s European Economic Area) cards and 2.9% +10p for non-EEA cards. There’s more I have to research before doing a market but it’s good info to know!

I’m looking into whether I can get the Shopify system so that it links to my website. Have a look around, because some systems you can set up automatic discounts - maybe square? 🤔 so when you add 3 minis, it will automatically discount to £10! 🤭 game changer! Hope you’re both okay 🩷
