HERD | Inside the Workshop

Step into the world of sheep with us! 🐑 🎶
From the workshop to the wild… Take a glimpse at the larger-than-life sheep that will soon appear in surprising places across the beautiful Kirklees countryside, as part of #HERD2023 from 11 - 16 July.
Designed by Huddersfield-based artist Dave Young, alongside his team of heritage craft practitioners, these musical sheep range in size from 1 - 4 metres high and are made from a variety of materials including textiles, willow, salvaged and recycled junk. They will be wired for sound for HERD by Sebastian Frost and John Del’Nero, experts in sound design.
