Getting into a stew with nifty knots and other whatnots made for another memorable trip spent in the leafy environs of Glen-upon-Avonbeg. Aside from a fleeting shower that kept everything green and fresh, the 2-nighter was comfortably dry, where any signs of dampness were quickly dispelled by the warm and hearty effects of that wagyu stew 😋 It certainly hit all the right spots with that generous cup of red wine thrown in! I'm now a bit more of a chronically infected camper on that scenic-filled road, thanks to your infectious enthusiasm in and with all things outdoorsy, including those tasty fireside cookups Cheers dude 👊🏼
Well executed stew Mark, looks awesome . Really enjoying your videos. You always show just how awesome camping in Ireland really is. Well done. See you on your next adventure. Ps top notch music. 👍🇮🇪👍
Hearty stew! Just what the doctor ordered. Loved the knots! Really handy. Knew the prussic and a couple others - reef, bowline and timber & clove hitch so these are great to know. Fabulous video ad always Mark. Always inspiring me to get out and go camping. It's my happy place and always clears my head. Looking forward to the next one as always. 💚
I like the fire pit that you use. That stew looked delicious😋😋 I've got a pot specifically for doing soups and stews outdoor. I need to get on it and start making them😁
Hi Mark excellent videos and content on your channel I am looking at your gear and trying to pick up some tips what folding camping chair are you using and where did you get the folding fire pit Enjoy the outdoors I love the way you scout out for great camping spots enjoy the outdoors.
Thanks Mark 👊 I picked both of those up on Amazon though I’m testing out a ultra lightweight one this weekend 500g and it is going for raffle in next video 👍
Good stuff as always Mark I'm heading camping next weekend up Glenmalure way gonna use my Nightcat Hammock tent for the 2nd time. How did you find that tripod worked overall for cooking? I have just got one from temu gonna use it next week but I've a petromax 4.5 dutch oven just thinking it might be too heavy for it 😅
@WildCampingIreland cheers that's what I was guessing I'll have to invest in a decent one from petromax 🤣 I have a grill table it'll do the job for now
Myself and my mates usually adhere to the national way marked trails. But we're wanting to give some camping such as this a go. Would you have any good recommendations on locations near wicklow?

Prussic loop attached to your harness is your back up when rock climbing... It must be a thinner gauge than the rope... Saves your life...

Can you link an amazon list with your gear please. Would love to know where your different bits come from, including the little fire base you have.

Loving the oul fire pit.. they're a great job. May not last as long as some but where would ya be going for the price and its so portable.
Hey JT , yeah the fire pit is very handy , almost zero cleanup 👍👊🍀

The tripod is fine for lighter weight, it won’t hold a Dutch oven pal 🏋️♀️😅

Head for Glenmalure hostel , about a mile before the hostel there is a waterfall on the right and a woodland on the left 👍👊🍀
@@WildCampingIreland awesome, will do just that! Thanks man 😊
That flute is VERY loud.
😂
Waste of Wagyu imo chuck steak would've been fine with more time to cook.. cool setup tho😊
Probably dude 🤷♂️ but the flavour from the wagyu was pretty special 😋👊🍀
