I would say the biggest fight in history that never happened would have been GSP vs Silva. Both on top of their divisions for years. Both champs. Both in their prime. Both setting records. And they were both doing it at the same time and the UFC dropped the ball there. But super fights really were only made popular way later
Give me Trump v Biden in the octagon and that would be bigger. Maybe Elon v Zuckerberg as well. But yes other than the gimmicks Tom v Jon would be the biggest fight possible
Chael vs Aspinall! 😂
Easy win for Sonnen. 💯
Well here we go!
To me its not the biggest fight simply because one side is nonstop ducking and actually saying he would rather vacate. That does not generate hype at all for me.
There is levels to the game and Jon set the standard ain’t no way Tom comes even close to beating Jon
Here's what I say: tournament that shit.
Jon, Tom, Francis, Volkov deserves a shot soon I think, hell if you can get Alex up to Heavy to fight somebody and prove he can fight at that weight then you can get him and some others in there. I know that it's just a dream, but a tournament would be nice.
Covington vs Conor at 170 would be a big fight
Jdm vs khamzat or shavkot, or carlos prates vs leon or shavkot would be huge
If Jon loses he retires. What if he WINS? If he Wins and retires, thats probably an even More gangster move! Imgine it. The division would be in chaos, with everyone in the top five trying to get the title fight! Things would get real "interesting"!
my house, cars, kids and Mrs goes on Tom in 60 seconds
@Alapahauk that is Bold! But I respect it.
Now, if Tom beats John then Tom VS Francis would be YUGE
Nate Connor 3 if it happens soon would be huge and you know the press conference would be fire
Conor and nate are irrelevant old heads no one cares
Do people see that the UFC can't afford to not have Chael on their side
The hype around this is the only reason it sounds like the biggest fight in UFC history.
Its the biggest fight right now in ufc under contracts, we as fans have a short memory and are prisoners of the moment. Volk vs. Isalm 1 was bigger (more intrigueing) to me in recent history. in my eyes conor vs khabib is the biggest fight with build up included and what was on the line also.
It's definitely not Carwin/Lesnar.
Ilia vs makhachev
I’m going to pay to watch that fight 100%.
The only fight i could see thats big but still not bigger than Jons vs Aspinall, is DDP vs Khamzat, but that ones gonna 100% happen after Strickland fight if DDP wins anyways.
Aspinall vs Nganou - then when Tom wins he fights Jon!
Rickson Fedor, GSP Khabib, Jones Francis.
Tyson Fury vs John Jones (UFC)
Not saying it’s the most competitive but it would be the biggest
Conner Vs Nate 3 is my dream fight
Not the biggest fight in history but surely the biggest fight in heavyweight history that im sure
