It might take me a few years to actually back engineer what genes are causing these amazing colors and patterns. But its so much fun! I am grateful today for so many things. I’m sure there’s more going on, but that looks very similar to what the cryptic gene does to pastel and pinstripe. That was my first impression when seeing some of the snakes from the clutch. Hope that helps maybe in beginning to get a grasp of what’s happening.

Oh wow Brian!! That mystery clutch is amazing! All of those babies are beautiful! I can’t wait to see what they look like out of the egg and hopefully you will also show them to us again as soon as they have had their first shed! I know it must be frustrating for you, not knowing what genes they each carry/potentially carry, but it’s also very exciting!! Think of all the potential surprises you could have, once these babies are old enough to breed themselves! Those are going to be some very exciting clutches to cut open in a couple of years or so!! I’m going to have to go back and watch this again!! I want to have another look at those amazing patterns on those babies! Does that mama snake have a 2nd clutch this year?! There would have to be a database to compare it too. I don't think they have one for snakes
