...Of the many live versions that have been recorded of this song, the player on the 5-string Fender jazz bass nails the bass line, nails it down h-a-r-d. He is absolutely killing it!

People keep talking about his voice, but he is a bit older and the sound is rich, elastic, with a pleasing vibrato, so rich of voice I was very happy to listen just for his voice. I like it more. He is more ripe. I heard he was a sagittarius but I would say Capricorn, in the way the sound fills the bone structure, perhaps like Elvira de Hidalgo, Grace Bumbry, and Suzanne Juyol, he's not grainy enough to be Sagittarius, both are good.
