Thank you for sharing all of the information! ❤ I’ve been wanting to get into the photo booth business for a long time. I’m very excited but nervous. 😅
If you want to grow this business at all then absolutely. It’ll protect your personal assets. But you can always consult with your accountant to be sure.
Hum… I would think there’s several steps to evaluate before name, pricing etc. How about startup costs, market that will use your services, ROI, just to name a few…
I just recently started considering starting a photo booth company. One of the things I was concerned about is how busy a company normally stays. Do you get on the average 4 bookings a month, or more like 10 or 15 bookings a month.
It really depends! Also consider that there are busy and non busy seasons. It depends on your area, the demographic, who you’re marketing too, how much money you’re putting into ads for your business, how much time you’re investing in organic social media marketing etc. if you’re asking me personally, I’ll always at least have 4. I’m doing 15 on average now. I just expanded my team so I have capacity to do more. So yea, you get out of it what you put in it.
Great content! Other boothers undercutting everyone else is the worst! There was a boother a few months ago undercutting everyone by HUNDREDS of dollars. I haven’t seen them much lately but offering a deluxe print package for the cost of a DNP media kit seems like a terrible business plan.
WOOOW noooo I mean, maybe for one event to get some experience but as a base price you’ll run yourself into the ground doing that. It’s just not worth it. Adding value not only helps the entire industry but brings you more profit, win win. It’s such a mindset switch that I wish more people understood when starting!
I copy everything. Do it for sure. Save money. Good times.
and before you pick a name make sure that domain name available
Yup! We have a whole podcast episode on that!

Yes!! It’s been the best decision I’ve ever made. Keep your vision clear and get after it! 💪
Do you need to get an LLC if you are just starting

It’s call free markets. You’ll adapt to the lower fees other charge or you’ll lose your business.
