I'm glad I got to see the filmed version when it was broadcast all over the world. So kind of the British co to do that. It really helped so many people get to see a classic, well done, important play. It was awesome and GA was just stunning.
@@prettylittleravenna The play was still running in London, and the National Theatre decided to film and broadcast the play all over the world, in some cinemas. You could look up your nearest one showing it. I saw it in a cinema in Tampa, Fla. I even have a copy of it. Google is a wonderful thing !
@@juliasaddi6520 I have one. You can actually find it if you search online. It was broadcast in countries that it's fine to record, and someone got me one. Not sure how to contact you, we don't want a 1000 people asking me the same ! lol I googled it. It was HERE on YT at one time, perhaps you can see where it MIGHT be available now. Even Ebay. But google is good.
It's amazing to me how Gillian can speak with a British or American accent depending on the setting she's in. I would imagine that in the play she would need a southern accent as well.
It’d be great if Ben Foster found his own voice and stopped channeling Sean Penn, “Jesse Pinkman” & a little Christopher Walken. As it stands, he smacks of affectation in every word that comes out of his mouth…..C’mon Ben, be/find your own “thing”….🙏🎭

Gillian is gorgeous... i thought she was hideous due to her portrayal of Eleanor roosevelt in The First Lady.
