@@LibertyHillBily good question! In some cases. You can’t get it perfect that way. This is only after you have taking the steering wheel off. And got it as close as you can. And then you fine, tune it with this.
@@LibertyHillBily and no it won’t throw the alignment off. You’re not moving the tie rod assembly. But you can always check the alignment after just to make sure.

Why didn’t you just remove the steering wheel and rotate? Adjusting the tie rod changes the alignment.
