Kenny deserves a lot of credit for getting bud into drag racing, once bud discovered they could cover the cars and strips with there name all over television and engage with blue collar beer drinking fans, they poured millions of bucks into drag racing as lots of sports were banning alcohol advertising.
Other massive brewing companies also saw the opportunities and the " BEER WARS" was born.
