So glad I follow you. I live in my camper and have a sustainable water source in the campground. I have all the pumps to get water from the pond but I have to treat the water before it goes in my freshwater tank. Always knew this to be a challenge but having a 55 gallon barrel around is a difficult hurdle if I need to get out fast and if I leave it outside, someone could steal it from me. Bought 2 of these and solved all my problems.

Thanks for the unboxing. I bought two such collapsible rain barrels for emergency use myself. Now I am thinking I should also add a bit of screen mesh and duct tape for the over flow valve to prevent bugs and mosquitos from getting in and breeding, just in case.
That's a great idea! Definitely don't want mosquitos and bugs in your water supply.

This is so cool. I use to use aquatank 2 for a portable water container but that is something you need a trailer for and then get the water from a spigot.

What about mosqutoes will they lay there eggs in it?
I’m using one, I did change a few things though I toss the plastic legs and I used rigid conduit. I also placed a DIY 3 gallon bucket carbon filter over where the water goes in as a pre-filter, if I have to use it for drinking water of course then it would go through an RO filter Because a carbon filter simply isn’t enough for the microbes and other bacteria you can get from all the bird poop on your roof.

I don't know if you can help me. My new collapsible rain barrel is on my deck.I've connected a 10ft hose using a quick connect to the bottom spout to water the vegetables on my deck. However, when I turn on the spigot, which works fine, nothing comes out of the hose sprayer end. Upon checking nothing is going into the hose from the spigot. My rain barrel is nearly full. I guess I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Any suggestions?

I enjoy your videos thanks you for sharing, but I wanted to make you aware I had the same rain barrel once it got about half way full the seem broke. That may not be the case for you or anyone else that may purchase it I just wanted to share my experience with this product
nearly every amazon review i read says the thing leaks like crazy. i almost bought it.
