I love CRAW! I had watched several tutorials on it, but just could not grasp it until I watched Kara’s tutorial. The way you broke it down to the floor, wall and ceiling, it made sense. Starting it on the pick also helped. Thank you so much for making it so easy to understand.

    Kara,
You have made me addicted to PRAW....
Since I learned with your bracelet video, I haven’t stopped yet making jewelry in right angle weave!
Been loving the PRAW (six) using 2 x 3mm or 3mm round faceted gemstones.
Thank you for your easy to follow tutorials, I truly enjoy them.
    Always looking forward to more!
    Blessings!
    🙏

Kara, I have to thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have tried CRAW numerous times and I don't know if it was a mental block or what but I just couldn't get it. Mind you, I have my pieces in a gallery and some of my pieces have sold for several hundred dollars. However, I just couldn't do CRAW ! I was working on a custom peyote snakeskin bracelet last night when I needed a break. Somehow this video came up as recommended. I thought, "oh, here we go again"!!! The simple fact that you placed it on that tool put it all in perspective. The "walls stood up so that we could see the thread path and where to go. This made all the difference in the world. Thank you, thank you, thank you !!!

Can I use white thread for this design? or will the threading look too obvious in the final piece?
Also, can I use czech seed or miyuki delicas when doing this design? Or does it have to be toho?
    Thanks!

    • @KarasBeads
      @KarasBeads  4 года назад

Delicas will not work for this design as they are cylindrical. You can use Czech seed beads if they are round, you can always cull them and use the ones that look similar in shape and size. As to thread, that’s entirely up to you. You can always try to match colour of your beads to the colour of your thread

I'm sorry, but I am having a very difficult time with joining the two ends. I can't really tell what beads you are going into. I have searched the web for some illustrated directions (I've watched several videos, but none are clear enough) but I can't find anything! Does anyone know a source for finding out how to do this? Kara, I've tried slowing down the video to .25 and I still can't get it right. :( Any help would be VERY appreciated!!

      Hello Jana
I have tons of tutorials on craw and almost all the them have parts where I connect craw into circle or corner. Watch several of them - craw isn’t easy for lot of people but with practice at some point it just clicks.
Try watching craw tutorials from other RUclipsrs, they might show it in a way that you will understand.
Good luck and don’t give up!
      xxx

Kara's Jewellery Vlog thank you. I have the basic craw stitch down perfectly now. It’s just the joining that I can’t get. I understand the concept of the ceiling, floor and walls, and know that I am basically building a wall between the floor and ceiling of the two ends. I understand attaching the first two beads, it’s just after thatshere I can’t tell what bead to go into next.
