I agree with Dystopian Prince.. your comment is so over-generalized. One of my best friends is black so in your view he must like rap, right? its music, and while granted most genres have an "image" that doesnt mean that everyone who listens to a certain genre acts or adopts that image. i listen to everything from Frank Sinatra, to Johnny cash, to Metallica to Pearl Jam, to Goo Goo Dolls to Slipknot and everything inbetween. that would be a hard "personality" image to portray in your over generalized world, now wouldnt it?.. just saying not to categorize people based on their interests because it shows ignorance.. And honestly you will probably comment back saying you didnt mean it that way and you might not have but it shows you have a closed mind even if you dont think you do.
i just don't like the gothic style. all those modifications and piercings and crazy stuff... and it's rare to find a girl that likes this music and isn't this gothic style. it's personal taste, not closed mind ;) let each person choose his own way and tastes.
