Crusher Chris???? You have the best nicknames for people. I thought you called him Crabster Chris at first 😂🤣 Great moving job James. Kudos to Graham for helping you out, a hatch will be great. So much more light. Things seem to be coming along, lithium batteries etc. Full steam….or batteries….ahead. Take care James and thanks again for sharing your journeys with us. 😊🤗 Kathy
When I first spotted him, I knew it was Chris. Good on you for helping James with a tricky move. Everything seems to be moving along quite nicely. But you do look like you need a good sleep. Cheers
Very impressive how you got both boats into that lock! Great that Chris was able to help though - would have been very tricky with the gates that didn’t open properly!! Hope the weekend goes smoothly 😊
Have you considered using reclaimed wood for your floors, walls and trim out for this boat? It may be less expensive and you can get some nice wood. Would your Daddy and your friends help you to outfit your boat? Do you have any female friends that would be willing to help with colors and decor? I’m in North Carolina or I would try to help! Put some feelers out on those willing to help!
In Hertfordshire, you have to show council tip officials a proof of residency letter (any official letter with home address on), not sure about other counties though.
You''ve been spoiling us with nearly daily updates!! I hope you're well.
I’ve had a few days off and a drama to contend with. Will be back tomorrow
@@TheNarrowboatThatJamesBuilt Glad to hear about. the return, sorry about the drama.

Its a mad idea, but what about umbilical Vetus controls in a box with a magnetic mount? I suppose BSS would frown.
Can believe there's No update on the floor... 😂 Did the spray foam work or not?
Good boatmanship
Moving the two boats together was a little stressful to watch, but well done you and Chris. Enjoy your weekend, James. Leigh
Nice steering with two boats 😊good video 😊thank you
Chris Mears. My other favourite YT vlogger. Great to see you both together in the one video.
Glad to be of service Alan
James i would be intrested in the windows in about 3 weeks,I can get them be for.let me know thanks
Good maneuvering of boats James, good job Chris did to help with gates. 😊
Nice one James
Great video bro rather you than me breasted up steering two boats my backside would be going halfacrown sixpence well done
Personally I would just have the new side hatch the same size as..! Less cutting and framing and would look cool aswell..👌
Sounds noisier than you current boat?
How about a battery powered strummer to cut the grass between the tow path and narrowboat in your spare time or is the uncut look a preference 🙂
He only needs to wait until the geese arrive.
have to say I'm really impressed James, seemingly taking any obstacle full on. very inspirational
The idle speed on your Vetus sounds a bit fast. I couldn’t see your rev counter but I believe that it should be.850 rpm minimum.
Do we want to know why Crusher Chris is called thusly? hmm
💜💙💚
Since you had so much help - couldn't someone have just driven the second boat?
The nb community is amazing. My fave narrowboaters in one vid Ta James.
You’re not wrong there bud, I’ve honestly never known a community like it
Instead of a opening doors what about sliding doors, like a barn door

Minimum distance to move is 1 kilometre just for info for your subscribers
cool vid on channel thanks lee
How does it work using a council tip when you are not a council tax payer?
That’s a fair point. To be honest the ones I use don’t ask for ID but many do.
@@TheNarrowboatThatJamesBuilt Thanks James. In my county you have to be registered to use the tip, otherwise no go.

THEY make battery powered cutting saws now, nothing's secured.
