Oh no he really forgot a torch on the spawner..... rip. Also pls use soul sand to bring the skeletons up 21 blocks then drop them back down next to the spawner that way you can afk in 1 spot and kill them at the same place.

Remove torch on the spawner, it'll increase spawn rate and help you farm faster
Put glass along one side so you can see them spawn and then rush down and kill them cause they will fall one on top of the other and eventually start dying from the impact of falling on one another and you'll lose xp
Set up multiple hoppers connected to chests cause these guys drop a lot of useless armor and ordinary bows that will block up space in both your chest and your hopper
And build an afk fish farm for the love of mankind

You need to light up the caves around the Spawner to increase the spawn rates of your farm
The dark caves is possible spots for mobs to spawn, this will take up the mob cap so that skeletons won’t spawn in your spawner room
this is literally 1 or 2 man world so the mob cap doesnt give a flying fuck they will still spawn in same quantities, and you cant increaste the spawn rates it wont spawn fx. 10 skeletons on 1 so yeah no
He already has lighted up the caves near the spawner. Mobs only spawn in the chunk you’re in.
If they do sidecraft vik should go all Helmet boy origins

Josh,try to make Splash Potion of Healing it harms monsters,make few of those afk for a while and just throw it on group of mobs much faster than hitting each one of them.
If you are on 1.13+ version of minecraft you can use soul sand and magma blocks for really quick movement up and down water.
So if you place soul sand at the bottom of the ocean it will push you up through the water and the opposite effect is for magma blocks as they will drag you down. In shorter terms 'water elevator'

You can make your XP grinder better by first taking them up and then getting them to land near the spawner so you don’t have to keep going upstairs and wait for them to spawn

Watching Josh play minecraft is so funny haha 26 episodes and he made a torch instead of a crafting table
Get a sword that has the looting enchantment and you’ll get enchanted bows and armor more often
You can use a water elevator with magma blocks and soul sand to send the skeletons up and back down, whilst being able to be close to the spawner to keep them spawning :)
You should mine out a way to where the skeletons drop from your main mine room
No idea why vikk pushed the skeletons along before dropping them but if you just go straight down from where the hole at the middle of the water is youll add another few blocks to the drop and it might make them 1 hit

You should make the lava in front of your house a nether decorated version of your regular waterfall
You don’t know how many times I was refreshing my feed
Make a campfire. You can make food while you out and about but the issue is unless you use your silk touch pic on the fire when done it will break into charcoal

Edit: btw i think you use silk touch to get the cobweb as a block or whatever.

Josh can you put ladders from the top of your grinder to the bottom please since it’ll be easier to get to the bottom compared to the rotating staircase Vikk built
Use all of the rails from the mine to go to and from the entrance of the mob killer thing and connect it to the top of your house or something like that.
